Hello beautiful people!
If you haven’t noticed I am officially back and I’ve been working on several posts for you and filming various videos for later. Today, I’m just revealing what came in my June 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag š
Because I got this month’s bag earlier than expected and was too busy with my classes, I decided to push this post and video until after finals. I also wanted to do a different kind of video–I’m still revealing my Ipsy bag but I’m doing it “Try On Style” as done by Kathleen Lights. š

I have to admit that I think this month’s bag is super cute and I was impressed by the quality. It’s a nice, soft fabric and I love the cream white polka dot design against a neutral background. I also like that the black material makes the rest of the bag stand out without clashing with the other colors. One of my favorite bags due to quality alone.

First Impressions:
If you saw my video above, I’m trying out all the Ipsy products on camera for the very first time, so I have included some first impressions/thoughts about each item. So far, I’m very pleased with each item and they far exceeded my expectations. I’m looking forward to testing them out a bit more for my full review at the end of the month.

You should! š They always send 4-5 samples and a lot of times it’s makeup with the occasional haircare or skincare product! š

I felt the same way about the NYX lip/cheek product but after I put it on I was like wow this is actually much lighter and I loved it on. The formula is pretty good too I’m very happy with it! I also decided that I should probablyyy get a fan brush for my highlighter, I like how the highlight looks after its applied with one. I’m still iffy on the liner, it definitely goes on very nice and super sharp the point is so fine but I found it hard to shade in my wings with it afterwards but for when I do a thin wing it’s pretty good! I love your comment on the bag “This one actually closes all the way” (LOL) but thats such a bummer that the ice cream bag didn’t. I still love that one and use it as my go-to make up bag. And lastly I was so excited because my bag came in early this month too!!! I get so anxious when I don’t get it within like the first two weeks lol The overall look you did today came out really good! Two thumbs up ā¤

Nice! Did you get the same shade as I did? I absolutely loved it, it looks like a nude shade on me, so who knows, maybe I’ll be able to put it on my cheeks but I’m not a fan of cream/liquid cheek products lol. You SHOULD get a fan brush! The application is more localized with it š I’ve tried other brushes and none of them worked out well the way the fan brush did. Very hard to find them on their own though, even sets don’t come with fan brushes. I think WnW has some though, the white handle with pink and white bristles. I have never seen it though lol.
Yeah, the eyeliner pen is…I have mixed feelings about it. I like how sharp the tip is, but I also didn’t like how I couldn’t quite draw my winged liner as well as I wanted to. The tip isnt flexible like the NYX liner, which I prefer. I will keep trying it and see if I can make it work for me because I was actually really excited to receive another liner lol.
I love getting them early, means I have more time to test the products out but I had to push everything to now. I’ve been wearing the products a lot though lol. š
And thank you, I realized how different it looks on camera than in person. LOL. It’s no wonder people cake on their makeup hahaha

Yes I got the same NYX lip shade! I don’t know how I feel about using it as blush either, I’ve never tried a liquid blush but at the same time I don’t think I’d like it either. Totally going to be on the look out for a fan brush though- or if anything I guess I could look on amazon. But you’re so right “localized” is the perfect way to put it! And yeah agreed with the liner, I still reach for my nyx one every time! I don’t even care to try new liners now (unless ipsy or sephora play sends me samples in their kits) nothing compares to the nyx one!

I’ll have to try it and let you know how it looks and if it blends easily and how quick. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like those products because more often than not, you have to work quick or they will make you look like a clown lol.

The bag was really cute this month! When I subscribed to Ipsy, I would get those little blushed from theBalm and they were always too tiny for a brush. They made me so mad!
