Influenster Voxbox Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick Review + Swatches

Helloo dolls!

I’m always excited to review lipsticks because they’re my favorite makeup product EVER. Lipsticks can make you feel more confident, bold, complete, put-together, (insert your own feeling here), etc., and that’s why I love them.

Play! by Sephora January 2018 Unboxing

Hello!

Hope you’re having a fantastic Friday!

I know I’m posting late, but that’s because I don’t want to wait until next week to show you guys what I received in my Sephora Play box this month. I got lots of other things I would like to publish next week anyway, and I really would like to keep posting only once instead of twice, that’s just too much work.

Influenster Voxbox L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Review

Hey guys!

I’ve mentioned a lot that I’m behind on several posts, and this would be one of them! I meant to post this about two weeks ago but I became very busy and had to put this together in the past three days.

Project Pan 2018 / / Collaboration with Ever Impractical

Heyy dolls!

We meant to post yesterday, but Andi had to work late so we had to re-arrange the date for this post in order to accommodate her work life. That being said, I am doing another project pan! I feel like last year’s project pan didn’t really get anywhere, but that’s only because I did it for 10 weeks (which isn’t very long).

I was thinking about it doing another one last year before the new year rolled around, but I hadn’t decided on a start date. That was until Andi from Ever Impractical said she was looking for collaborators on her project pan through our Facebook Group (you should join!), and I JUMPED at the chance to join her!

December 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Hello loves!

After the festivities, I’ve been busy busy cleaning my house that I’ve barely gotten a chance to sit down and plan my blog schedule for the rest of the month. Hopefully I can get some down time this week to figure it out and come up with exciting content for you.

I finally finished this post last night to give you mini reviews of the products I received in my Ipsy bag last month. I was actually quite pleased with the products I received. 🙂

As always, you don’t have to read the entirety of this post, so feel free to browse through the products you are curious about. 🙂

January 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag Reveal

Hey my dolls!

I know that today isn’t technically a “beauty” day, but I got no lifestyle posts to show you since I haven’t done anything (I do have one coming for you Wednesday, though). I received my Ipsy bag over the weekend, so I thought I could do an unboxing/reveal since I don’t have anything else to post, and these posts tend to be pretty short anyway.

Also, be on the lookout for tomorrow’s beauty post–my December 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag review, which would have gone up last week if I hadn’t taken a break.

Ok. . . Moving on! Let’s see what my Ipsy bag brought me this month!

Theme: Game Face

I don’t like the bag. Sorry but I don’t. I’m a little sporty, but I feel like this is too cliche? The colors and the fabric resemble a running shoe, which I assume that what they were going for, hence the zipper being shoelaces, but it’s not for me. On the other hand, I can see why they would make this the theme this month, as so many people (me included) have fitness in their New Year’s resolutions.

I do love the other side of the postcard for us to fill out. I wrote “peace”. Long story short: I’m often consumed by stress, and at times peace seems unattainable, so it’s practically a never-ending battle to achieve peace. Ironic because peace should come easy.. I’m sure if I could just feel at peace with so many things, I could achieve far more.

Bag Contents:

  • Ciate London Fierce Flicks Liquid Eyeliner
  • Global Beauty Care Charcoal Wash-Off Mask
  • Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Bikini
  • So Susan Liquid Matte in Raisin Flesh
  • theBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer

First Impressions:

As I mentioned above, not a huge fan of the makeup bag. In terms of products received, I’m fairly happy with most. I always welcome charcoal skincare products because they work wonders for my skin.

I’m excited to have received a sample of the Mary-Lou Manizer, as I only have Cindy-Lou Manizer, and this one seems like it’d be better for my skin tone. I also cannot wait to try the liquid eyeliner to compare to my favorite NYX liquid eyeliner.

So Susan and Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics are new brands to me. I believe I received a So Susan brush last year, but this would be my first makeup product from the brand, same goes for DLS. I’m not too sure what I think about the lipstick yet, but I know I won’t use the eyeshadow. I feel like they keep sending these kinds of shade, I’m already tired of it..so I’ll put it aside for a future giveaway (which by the way will be when I reach 1k followers here on WP).
