Dark Winter Tights — OOTD Collab with Vintage Tea Rose

Hello my loves!

By now I’m sure you’re all aware about how much I love to collaborate with other bloggers. After posting my Blog Goals I got feedback from some of you telling me you’d love to collab with me and I still welcome you all with open arms. The lovely Sarah from Vintage Tea Rose actually reached out to me shortly after, and we decided to do a winter OOTD collab.

I know spring is right around the corner but it doesn’t feel like it. It’s been ridiculously cold and Sarah had the fantastic idea to do an OOTD styling tights for winter. We really hope you guys like these outfits, because it couldn’t have turned out any better than this.

I don’t have any blue wintery clothes in my closet but apparently dark winter colors are a thing. I looked through Pinterest and Google and found that olive and beige were on the dark winter palette and I had both.. And also, I just really like the “dresses with tights” look!

I’m really in love with this outfit. I think it’s a good representation of “dark winter colors” and this outfit truly works for me because olive tones look really flattering on my skin tone. This dress makes me look a bit more bronzed than I am at the moment.

This beige cardigan is very nice and warm, so I don’t need extra layers. Even though it’s pretty long, wearing heels gives the illusion of longer legs so this outfit kind of works out in my favor in yet another way. 🙂

And since this is an OOTD centered around tights, here’s a close-up. I love these tights! They’re pretty sheer but you’d be surprised how warm these can keep you–as thin as they may be!

And as always, I gotta put a spin on my outfits and style them with shoes that very few people would pick:

What did you think of this outfit?

Now that you’ve seen my outfit, head on over to Sarah’s blog to see hers! I’m loving that we both did something different and complete opposite in terms of color palette–she went with a true/bright winter palette while I went with a dark winter palette.
Here’s a sneak peek photo of Sarah’s outfit.

  1. I love both of your outfits! That cardigan is totally my style. I don’t wear dresses & skirts too often but I bought two sweater dresses this past year and I’ve been loving patterned tights ever since 🙂

I’ve been wearing dresses for ever they’ve sort of become my favorite clothing lol. And I’d love to rock patterned tights but idk if I can pull them off 😅

  2. Both that dress and those boots look stunning! I want em! I love pairing tights with different skirts and dresses, and it’s always fun seeing how much they change up an outfit! Such a great collab!

    1. Awh thanks!! The boots I got many years ago? At love culture. Not sure if they have similar styles anywhere else, I haven’t looked 😔
Oh my gosh yes!! They can make an outfit look entirely different.
