Heyy guys!

Today’s beauty box review is going to be another short one!

Bag Contents:

  • Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara (will not be reviewing — unopened)
  • Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12 Hr Wear Waterproof in Flirting Game (will not be reviewing)
  • DrJart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF45
  • Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Bohemian Purple
  • Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Spray
  • Marajo Hair Care Nourishing Cleansing Creme & Deep Treatment Butter (This Monthโ€™s Bonus)

Note: I only open one mascara at a time, so the Lancome mascara will not be reviewed until I try it. I will also be giving away the Sephora Collection contour eye pencil because I know I won’t use the shade as much.

Premium Beauty Balm SPF45

Quick Description & Claims:

A concealing, beautifying, and sun-protecting beauty balm. This silky multi-action cream is your one-step regimen for flawless, moisturizer skin. It brightens, smooths, and protects your skin from UV rays.

Mini Product Review:

I did want to try this beauty balm but unfortunately it was way too light for me. I got this in the shade light-medium. I only squeezed a bit out and tested the shade on my cheek and it just didn’t suit me. So I will be giving this away to my dad’s wife or something.

Cruelty Free? No.

Sephora Collection
Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Bohemian Purple

Quick Description & Claims:

A silky lip stain in a deep purple shade that doesn’t require reapplication. A bolg, boho lip is a festival must, and this matte stain delivers. Its richly pigmented, super long-lasting formula is perfect for a day in the desert or a night on the town.

Mini Product Review:

I was actually very pleased with the formula of this liquid lipstick. It was so freaking creamy and applied really well on the lips. The doe foot wand was nice as well, I didn’t have a hard time applying it in the corners of my mouth like I typically do with liquid lipsticks.

Left Photo: Natural Light (sorry it’s dark, it’s really cloudy outside) | Right Photo: Flash

The shade is also really pretty and I agree that it would be a great shade for a festival look. I wish I could have taken a photo with it so you guys could see how it looks like on the lips.

Cruelty Free? No.

Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Spray

Quick Description & Claims:

A dual-action spray that prodives instant volume and texture. This hairspray’s unique blend of lemon, ginseng, and other plant-derived ingredients gives you that instant volume and more time between washes. Plus, it’ll visibly thicken strands over time–win, win!

Mini Product Review:

So I actually feel really bad that I didn’t really use this. I did sort of smell the scent and it smells pretty fresh and fairly subtle. I didn’t use it because I try to avoid blow-drying during the colder months. Another reason is because I need to replace my hair dryer because mine really really sucks.

So once I actually use it, I will give you guys a full review of it with before and after results! ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. I’m pretty sure that I won’t be disappointed (or at least I truly hope not) but I’ve had really good experiences with Briogeo’s products.

Cruelty Free? Yes.

Marajo Hair Care
Nourishing Cleansing Creme & Deep Treatment Butter

Quick Description & Claims:

A luxurious shampoo and conditioner duo packed with nutrient-rich butters and botanical oils that smooth, hydrate, and add major shine.

Mini Product Review:

I usually don’t like the shampoo and conditioner samples I receive from Sephora because they tend to be extremely scented or I don’t like their scent. So I was very surprised when I tried this because the scent is pretty subtle to me.

I looked up these products on Sephora for more information and the Cleansing Creme is paraben-free and the Deep Treatment Butter is paraben, SLS, and SLES free.

Both of these products made my hair feel so soft and really hydrated I felt like my hair had come back to life! I also love that the shampoo eliminated from of my frizz and my flyaways and my hair was a little bit easier to style using these products.

Too bad they’re not CF, otherwise I’d buy the full-size.ย They’re CF but I’d still think it over before purchasing since they’re not certified (which could mean they might* be selling to China).

Cruelty Free? No. My mistake, they apparently are, but not Leaping Bunny certified.

    1. I know and I really wanted to try it on my entire face too LOL. One thing about SPF that Wayne Goss talked about was that products containing SPF won’t protect you like you’d imagine them to do so, so it’s important to use/apply the recommend amount on your face for protection (before applying all your makeup containing SPF)
