Heeelloooo!!
I have another collab which I’m so excited about! It took Angela and I quite a while to decide what we should do together, and when we decided on a OOTD, we still struggled to come up with a theme that we could both achieve! LMAO
Luckily, the light bulb went off (came on?) in my brain! Since Angela lives on the other side of the world and our seasons are flipped, I thought about doing transitional OOTDs. Mine will be winter to spring and hers summer to fall! 🙂
I’m so so excited you guys. I know I say this all the time but I LOOOVE collaborating with other bloggers. Sarah and I talked about this when we did our OOTD collab, that blogging can sometimes be a lonely journey, and when we get to do something with other people, it’s exciting! Everything that happens behind-the-scenes is done with another person and the process is amazing and it usually brings people closer. ❤
I’m going to shut up now, you guys are probably saying “get on with it already”.. I will, but first: shout-out to Alex for taking all these gorgeous photos. ❤
Winter to Spring Transitional OOTD
Since Mother Nature refuses to acknowledge that it’s already spring, I’ve put in some effort to make this outfit wearable with our unpredictable Oregon weather. Whether it’s raining or there’s a bit of sunshine, this outfit has me covered while still reflecting a season change.
I can either wear my jacket if it’s cloudy and cold, or take it off and rock this white racerback tank if it’s sunny and nice. I feel like this is the perfect outfit for days like that and I’m not compromising my style.
I also slightly cuffed my jeans because I’m short and it makes them look like capris/cropped pants. Correct me if I’m wrong but they’re trendy right now?
Adding color to wardrobe comes easy to those of you who are seasoned fashionistas, but for someone like me with nothing but black clothes in my closet, it can be a struggle. Luckily, I found the perfect items to aid my boring wardrobe; these lovely pink Levi’s Malibu trainers and a crossbody(?) purse from a brand I’ve never heard of, Bueno.
I used to always think that in order to add color to my wardrobe, I needed colored pants and/or tops but it was so much easier to look for accessories. I also love that these items are up alley so I’m not making any drastic changes to my style. That’s a win!
Outfit Details:
Cami: Forever21 | Racerback Tank: LoveCulture | Pleather Jacket: LoveCulture
Jeans: Jessica Simpson | Trainers: Levi’s | Purse: Bueno | Necklace: Charlotte Russe
I’d love to know: How do you add color to your wardrobe?!

Thank you!! And I’m still struggling to style it lol. I’m looking for effortless looks but it seems a lot of them work best on girls with perfect straight hair haha

It’s kind of funny the outfits you guys created could be for both spring and fall. I never really realized that my wardrobes for spring and fall are basically the same lol!
I really like the look of the cuffed jeans! I have no idea if that’s “in” or not as I don’t really follow fashion but I like it. I’m off to check out Angela’s post! 🙂

I could see that, though I don’t wear pastels during the fall, I tend to wear darker colors lol. But a change of shoes and accesories could definitely change the outfit completely.
I’m not sure either but I have seen people wear them like that a lot. And thanks for stopping by!

I KNOWWW! 😀 and I’m not much into pink, when I found these I was like “well, this is subtle enough! closer to pastel than a true pink!” 😀
