FINALLY!
Here it is! My Fitness Routine!
It’s not really a “long-awaited” post because no one asked for it, but I’m proud to FINALLY have a routine that works for ME. I wanted to make sure that I had a full-body, at-home workout, but mainly focusing on core strength and toning because… I would like to lose the belly pouch that is leftover from pregnancy and giving birth from like a million years ago…. le sigh..
If you guys read my life update last week, then you know I haven’t been in the right mindset lately, so I’ll have to work my way back up to the level of activity I was in before I lost motivation. But I’ll get there in time..
This entire workout lasts roughly an hour if I don’t take long breaks in between, maybe more now that I’ve added something else to the routine. I haven’t done the full routine in the past week and a half, maybe two. But I am determined to start all over again and really put in some effort and try to at least do a short version of this workout on days like today when I have to take Ciel to school or run errands.
My FULL Fitness Routine
(Yes, it’s all in order)
Warm-Up: Sun Salutation B
After doing 30 Days of Yoga with Yoga with Adriene in January, I wanted to keep doing at least a little bit of yoga and I remembered I had saved this on my phone a long time ago. I love doing this right before my workouts to wake up the body. Sun Salutation B is longer than A, and I prefer to do a long warm-up before I start. Even on days when I don’t do the full fitness routine I find this makes me feel good throughout the day.

8 Mins: Abs Workout
Alex used to do this workout a very long time ago and it worked for him so I do it too lol. Some exercises are a bit challenging for me, so I replace them with something I’m able to do.
* * *
8 Mins: Butt Workout
Self-explanatory, relatively easy. They have lunges in this video too so I’m kind of working on my legs as well.
* * *
8 Mins: Leg Workout
This one is now too easy for me so I’ll have to move on to Level 2, but it’s great for beginners.

Toned & Defined Arm Workout — Blogilates
This workout is SO GOOD for your arms and you don’t even need weights!! I still can’t get through half of the video before putting my arms down for a second or two, but I cannot wait till I’m able to get through the ENTIRE video lol. Cassey makes this workout super enjoyable!
* * *
5 Minute Fat Attack / Quick Sweat Fat Burning Circuit — Blogilates
I tend to rotate these two videos every workout because they’re both around 5 minutes each and there are days when I like to push myself and do both, but very rarely lol.
* * *
Lose Belly Fat (Beginner Workout) — 30 Day Workout (APP)
I recently got this app in my phone and I love it! You can track your weight and the calories you burn in each workout. You just turn on the app and select your workout and start it. It’s fun and easy! 🙂 I’ll be moving on to intermediate real soon with this app because I’m able to do it all the way through without breaks in between. I hardly break a sweat.
* * *
100 Daily Squats
Self-explanatory. I began doing a “100 Squats a Day for 30 Days” at the beginning of April and decided to keep going past the 30 days. I’ve already noticed a slight difference, and Alex said he has too lol. I’m able to do 50 squats in a row, but when I really push myself, I can get through the full 100 without stopping.
* * *
Cool-Down: Sun Salutation A
I do the Sun Salutation A for a cool-down and it’s fairly easy and fast as well. It’s a good way to end the workout and it makes me feel really good and I stretch sore muscles.
Short Workouts
I also have shorter versions of this workout for days when I just don’t have the time but still want to do at least SOMETHING, or for days when I want to do something different. It’s usually a variation of any of the exercises above, but I also have a few other videos in my playlist if I want a quick burn.
Here are some other videos:
5 Minute Flat Abs — Blogilates
I’ve come to love Blogilates since many of you recommended her videos to me. I have a few other videos in my playlist that I will do eventually when I’m more conditioned. But she makes them very fun and enjoyable and she really challenges you.
Sore-y Not Sorry Ab Workout Challenge
This one I find more challenging than the ones above, but still really good for abs!
And my all-time favorite, challenging video:
HIIT Home Workout for Beginners — The Body Coach TV
Alex started doing one of Joe’s workouts and I decided to check out his videos for a beginners HIIT workout and found this one. Alex and I did it together our first time and holy shit, it’s so HARD!! I’m so not in shape for this video and I cannot even believe it’s for “beginners” but okay, lol.
So that’s it. That’s my full fitness routine plus some extra videos that I like to do when I don’t have a full hour for working out. I’m definitely trying to get back into my routine again after such stressful weeks, but I’m beginning to feel better and more determined to get through an hour of workout each morning to start the day off right.
What about you guys? Do you workout at home or at the gym?
Do you have a routine? Are you familiar with any of the videos above??
Please feel free to share your favorite videos or routines with me!! 🙂

Thanks. I’ve been feeling pretty unmotivated lately as well so you’re not alone. It’ll be hard to start up again but hard work will pay off, eventually lol

I tried a few blogilates workouts and i couldn’t get through a while video without needing a break 😂 I’m glad you’ve found a routine that works for you! It does make working out easier 🤗

I’m not a fan of that blogilates girl. I feel she doesn’t teach well how to properly do things and she’s pretty boring to me. I love Rebecce Louise on YouTube! She’s so energetic, happy, and motivating. She makes sure you’re always doing your work out properly! I only do 2 videos by her on YouTube on the Xhit channel.

Yeah I can see that, I guess for long time followers, they understand or maybe she’s explained before who knows.. But I’ll check her out, I’ve been looking for other videos to rotate some of the ones I have in my playlist so I don’t get bored LOL

Love this! I am super skinny but with a belly pouch from my pregnancy. I have been doing a bunch of abs workouts trying to get rid of it. I also focus on strength training!

I’m literally trying so many different kinds of abs workouts too lol I need it gone LOL
But strength training is good, right now I want more endurance LOL

These look so great! I just downloaded the app, totally want to try that! Also, that arm workout look awesome, I’ll have to incorporate. I want to try the HIIT workout too, maybe with Joshua. Thanks for sharing your routine! Now I have some great new ideas and inspiration lol.

The app is very fun! My workouts last 10-15 minutes, if you end up doing all the 30 sec rests in between it may be up to 20 mins. I usually skip them to keep the heart rate going lol
The arm workout is so hard for me, my arms end up hurting so bad LOL. And the HIIT workout is SOOO good!! OMG! I was dying the first time though lol
No problem, thanks for reading! Let me know if you end up liking any of these workouts and/or if they end up working out for you : )

I’m pretty sure I downloaded the same one and I can’t wait to try it! Just waiting for my dumb cold to clear up so I don’t make myself worse again. I like that it’s not a huge amount of time dedicated to it, so I’ll probably be more likely to keep up with it, haha.
I tried it a little and my arms were feeling it for sure! My gosh, honestly just the warm-ups of that HIIT workout look intense! :O I’ll probably die lol. Maybe I’ll find an easier one on YouTube more along my level to get started. 😉

That’s great, I hope you get better soon!! 😊
But yeah, I love how short it is, it makes me want to keep trying ever morning and if I feel up to it, I’ll keep going with other workouts lol.
I knowww!!! Intense is probably the perfect word to describe that HIIT workout lmao. Yeah there should be others, sometimes HIIT workouts for women are a bit easier. I know blogilates have a few PIIT style workouts on her channel as well, I think I’ve only seen one or two.

Thank you! I’m hoping to try out the HIIT workout by the end of the week, I should be well-enough by then to not regress lol. Ooh I hadn’t thought about looking specifically for women, but that may totally help. Thanks!

Having a routine will definitely allow you to see results. Be consistent with it. Make sure you change it up every 12 to 16 weeks

Thank you, I will keep that in mind 🙂
