I worked tirelessly most of last night and all morning to bring you this post (+ video) today because I had been putting it off for such a long time. I finally said enough is enough and started working on it. Sooo… I hope you guys like this post and video?

A Full Face with Drugstore Makeup

I didn’t like the eyes much, and sorry if I’m a little rusty. I literally haven’t done my makeup the entire month, because I’m in a creative rut..

Regardless, I did the best I could with what I have, with the exception of the eyeshadow palette, which isn’t from a drugstore and I currently don’t have a drugstore mascara because I have too many from my Sephora subscription.

I honestly didn’t think it would be over $100 USD, I was surprised! But this was such a fun thing to do and I cannot wait to try it with high-end products, that’s gotta be AT LEAST double this amount if not way more!

    1. Awh thanks! I hate the eyeshadow then again, my favorite brushes were dirty lmao. I need to wash them 😂
      But I’m excited to film that video too and see the final price. That’s gonna be scary as hell but I’m lucky that most of the stuff I have came in my subscriptions or has been gifted or won in giveaways lol.

  4. If drugstore is over $100 the high end version of this challenge must be at least double! I don’t even want to think about how much my makeup has costed me lol
    I’ve also been feeling really uncreative with my makeup lately. Normally I want to try all sorts of new looks and products but I’ve just been doing the same look over and over..
    I like the look you created here, that purpley eyeshadow looks great on you!

    1. I know right?! I’m excited to see what the total will be lol. Lucky for me, i haven’t bought every single thing, a lot of it has come in my subscriptions but still, it can get pretty expensive lol.
      And hopefully we both start getting creative again.
      Thank you so much! Generally purple shades look good on brown eyes, but I didn’t like how this particular look turned out, I should have done something a bit more simple considering I hadn’t done my makeup in a long long time lol.

      1. That’s good, subscriptions take the cost down a bit for sure! Well, I like it haha. I’ve been wearing contact lenses again a lot lately and I keep forgetting I need to tone down the makeup because without lenses to diffuse the look I look crazy half the time 😂

    1. I hope you do, I’d love to see it! And on the bright side, you get more products for $100 than you would for high end products, and a lot of them tend to rival high end products anyway, so it’s not really a huge loss. 🙂 unless of course the products don’t work out for you then that’s another story.

Anyway I love love this look, these colours really suit you, especially that lipstick and tied in with the eye look its just perfect! Gorgeous lady. I’m so excited to see your high end version! $100 isn’t too bad I’m so interested to see how much your expensive one will come to!

      Awh thanks! I do like purple shades for brown eyes, they suit us brown eyed girls better lol.
