Collab Reflection — June 2018 Bloggers Collab

Wow it’s already Wednesday!

And the month is almost over too! 😦

And this blog post is the last one in this collab! *cue tears* 😥 😥

If you’re new to my blog or don’t know what I’m talking about, I teamed up with Hunida and Courtney to bring you lifestyle posts twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays all month long and now it’s officially over 😥

Anyone familiar with that one scene from The Office when Michael freaks out because Toby has returned?

THAT is how I feel about this collab ending lol.
I would have used a gif but the codes don’t work on my blog..

Anyway it was such a pleasure to work with these two lovely ladies. I enjoyed writing out posts and getting to know each other immensely. I’m going to miss this. ❤

Sorry for the lack of photos in this post, I wasn’t sure what I could include here..

Final Prompt: Collab Reflection

Hunida and Tialla mentioned that this was their first collaboration. I on the other hand have done a bunch. But I just found this prompt to be so fitting because they get to reflect on the collab.. And so do I..

I for one loooooved doing this collab. I’ve never done one that was lifestyle. It’s usually beauty and/or fashion related, but this one was rather fun!

I got to know them a lot better and anytime I collab with someone, I feel like we build some sort of friendship. Working on your blog by yourself can become boring and maybe even lonely. But I find this so incredibly rewarding! It’s nice working alongside other bloggers because we’re all together behind the scenes sharing ideas with each other and basically making this mini project come alive.

I enjoyed the prompts we came up with together. I don’t normally share that much lifestyle content with you, though I am trying, but I feel like these prompts were just a tad more personal, for me at least. You guys got to know me a bit better. Maybe you learned a thing or two that you didn’t know before? Or maybe you got an insight into what my daily life is like.

When I initially came up with this lifestyle collab, it was going to be a solo project, but as I mentioned it to Tialla and Hunida, they expressed their interest and I was actually so happy to know that they wanted to join me! ❤

This is one of my favorite collabs, not only because I got to do it with two amazing ladies, but because it’s the one collab that was more than one post, it was EIGHT! The prompts were also more laid back and easier to write than my other content because they’re more straight forward than my beauty reviews, which can take longer to write.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I had so much fun with this collab! I’m glad Tialla and Hunida agreed to come on board, and it makes me happy to call them my friends even though I’ve never met them IRL.

If case you’ve missed my previous posts in this collab:

You girls are amazing and I want to thank you both so much for doing this with me! Also, thanks to all of our readers for supporting us! ❤

Please don’t forget to check out my friends’ posts as well!

I wish there was a LOVE button because that’s totally how I feel about this post! (And the collab!) I had such a blast as well and it was wonderful to get to know you and Hunida better! I loved all of your content and I’m really glad that you came up with the collab and asked us about it! Collaborating certainly helps bring projects alive like you said. Thank you so much for inviting me along on this adventure! ❤
