Haii!!

I’m kicking the week off with my very first Halloween look of the year!!

Last year’s one and only Halloween look was Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul because I love that manga so much. I ended up recreating Glam & Gore’s look to the best of my ability lol.

This year I’m aiming for seven looks as some of you already know, and will be posting two each week until the end of October.

I’m trying to start off with easy looks, but I’m not going to lie, this one was pretty difficult for me BECAUSE of the eyes. I feel like the rest was easy. This is actually my second attempt at this look because the first time was a complete DISASTER, but I feel like this one turned out to be more or less the same.. Ooops.

The most complicated thing was the smokey eye, I have come to find out that they’re not the easiest thing for me to do, especially using black eyeshadow. Maybe I will try to recreate it again another time with purple shades instead, lol.

Besides the eyes, I think the rest of this look is okay, but as I mentioned in my video, don’t expect greatness from me because I’ve never done this before lol.

  2. Oh my gosh Rossy this is AMAZING! I know you said you weren’t entirely happy with the eyes but girl I think it looks incredible. We are all our own worst critics anyway. 😉 You totally captured vampire with this and I’m amazed at how dark you got the smokey eye. I’m so excited for Halloween now!! This will be the first year that Joshua & I get to hand out candy since we haven’t been home the past couple of years. It was the HARDEST thing to come up with costumes because even though I found some that I loved, we just couldn’t afford them. So, we decided on more simple costumes. I bought a cute cat masquerade mask, which I’ll pair with a black sweater, black leggings, and black boots haha. Joshua decided on a 1920s gangster fedora + tie + suspenders combo, which should be fun. 🙂 Are you guys doing anything for Halloween?

    1. Awh thanks! But you’re right, we are too hard on ourselves. Thank you, it’s really easy to get a dark dark smokey eye when you have a creamy black eye pencil to use as a base, then you just use black eyeshadow on top to mattifye it. 😁
      Omg that’s exciting. We’re never home so we don’t hand out candy but ciel loves trick or treating lol.
      And that sounds like a cute costume!! I’m still not sure what I’ll be. Ciel wants me to be princess peach because he’s gonna be super mario but they didn’t have that costume at spirit Halloween or at party city. Bummer.

        Oh that's right, of course you guys go trick or treating with Ciel! How fun!! Aw that would be so cute to be Princess Peach with him as Super Mario! Maybe Amazon has the costume? I was browsing a ton on there and some of them have awesome reviews. 😀

        1. You should try it and see if you like it 🙂 It’s a great way to do black smokey eyes quicker 🙂
          I know!! I really want to dress up as Princess Peach to make him happy. And I’d wear it again for his bday LOL

          1. I should! Maybe for my cat costume lol. XD Not sure if I want to do a pink glitter look or a dark black look, but I should play around with it!

    1. Awh thanks! In hindsight I could have made them much lighter as well and the Smokey eye better lol. The ombré lip was much harder, literally dark shades are so hard to work with lol. It’s hard to be precise.

  6. Ahhh!! I loooove that photo under the makeup details!! I think the eyes turned out really well but the lips are my favorite. 😍

    I don’t dress up for Halloween really. I have a few costumes for work that go on rotation all month but I don’t do anything to my face. 😛

    1. Thank you, tbh I don’t like this look very much, so I can’t wait for you to see my next two. I will be working on the 4th look tomorrow fingers crossed lol.
      The lips were hard, it’s so hard working with a black and red lipstick lol.
      Oh okay I see, so you dress up for work then, but not outside of work? Am I right or did I misunderstood you lol I’m sorry

        & yeah you got it right lol I half-ass dress up at work & outside of work… I don't dress up at all. But I do wanna hit up some haunted houses later in the month… hopefully!! Do you bring Ciel around trick-or-treating? 😀

          I want to go to a haunted house too, last time I went was when I was 15 ish or so? I can't remember, it was fun though LOL.
