First Impressions — Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette

Heyy dolls!

My blog schedule for the month is going to look a little bit funky. I do have plenty of things planned and I’m hoping I can make them come to life. I will also be posting on my YouTube but those will be separate videos from what I post here.

Anyway, I’m going to keep this post fairly brief since it’s a first impressions.

Watch my first impressions + mini tut video:

Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette
First Impressions

If you were subscribed to Boxycharm in September, you most likely received this palette too. I haven’t had the chance to play with my makeup lately but I’m trying to turn that around. I literally just tried this palette for the first time a few days ago and I gotta say, I’m extremely pleased with the quality of this palette.

I tried to create an everyday daytime look, but it turned out to be a daytime smokey eye, which is totally fine. I definitely see that this palette can be used daily and you can also turn your daytime looks into night time looks by making the looks a bit darker with the bottom, darker shades.

I only got to use half of the shades in this palette and I was very impressed with the formulas for both the mattes and the shimmers. When I swatched them I felt as though some mattes were dryer than others, which leads me to believe there’s a mix of satins and mattes.

After Midnight and All Nighter swatched a bit patchy, and I also felt a *slight* difference in some of the shimmers. A few were slightly creamier than others and I also noticed that Eye Spy was more pigmented than the rest. I truly hope the swatches are just that, and not a confirmation of the formula possibly being a bit inconsistent.

Those differences aside, I did like the shades I was able to use. They blended pretty easily into each other, and they also complimented each other quite well. I’m excited to try the darker shades soon, and hopefully the palette is as good as it seems so far.

Smokey Daytime Look

I also created this smokey/daytime look.

I will be sure to write up a full in-depth review once I’ve used this palette enough. It might take me some time but I have high hopes for it based on my first experience with this palette.

I’d love to know who else owns this palette and if you liked it or if it fell short for you?
I hope everyone has an amazing rest of the week! I will be working very hard to bring content for the rest of the month both on here and on my YT channel, so be sure to follow and subscribe to both just in case. 🙂

Thanks for reading! Love you all! ❤

haha, I hope to put it out maybe sometime in January so I can move on to other palettes. I have an idea in my head that I’d like to attempt but I need to make sure I’ve gone through all my palettes lol. I also need to count them otherwise my idea won’t work haha.
