Plan With Me! — January 2019 Bullet Journal

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as much, I’m just trying to figure out the content for the month since a lot of it fell through in December. Not sure if I still want to publish those posts and videos now, plus a few things came up, I’ll explain in another post..eventually.

Today though, I have another BuJo post. I know I published my set up last week; in fact, I meant to post that before the year started so these could be a bit spaced out. But I couldn’t make it happen so I’m kind of posting these back to back.

Let’s just get started, I’ll make this post short and sweet!

P.S. Sorry for the over-exposed photos, lighting sucks in my house at the moment! 😦

Watch me ink my January spreads:

January Cover Page

I went with a fireworks theme for the cover page to welcome the new year.

Calendar Spread

I chose snowflakes as the theme, but as you will see, I didn’t actually carry the theme throughout, oh well. Maybe next month, lol.

I will be using this page to schedule my blog posts so I can take the necessary steps to plan and organize my posts as well as manage my own time. This will be the monthly overview, kind of page.

Budget Plan & Habit Tracker

After inking it, I realized I disliked my budget plan page. It feels too structured and boring, but at least it’s functional. I’m thinking of switching up the layout and possibly adding an expense tracker next month.

My habit tracker is also quite simple. I will have to find something more exciting. It just looks so plain because I had forgotten about adding doodles on the page. Maybe it just needs more color.

Fitness & Health Trackers

Filling in the days in every single box was painful! It hurt my wrist by the time I was done, but I do really like the layout of this one.

The running graphs at the bottom are probably my favorite thing because I will see my fitness progress as well as my sleeping pattern and when it dips. I explain more how I will be using this spread in my video.

Blogging Brain Dump

A quote page to break up the spreads and a page to write-in many ideas I might have for the blog. I just needed a page to write down all my ideas for the month or for later.

Blogging & YouTube / Stats

My blogging and YouTube page is simple but I really like it because I will be able to keep track of what I already started and what will be taking priority over other posts or videos.

I don’t know why I added my social media stats. To be honest, I thought it would be helpful, but I don’t care about my numbers because it’s not like I’m getting many views, likes or follows on my social media or videos on YouTube. Maybe I won’t keep this page after all but I think I added it to keep track of my growth.

Weekly Spreads

My weekly spreads are were I write in my daily tasks.  I didn’t need much space for each day as I will be dedicating one day to a different task in hopes that I will be able to manage my time better.

I do like the layout of these and will most likely keep it the same next month because it looks like a planner and I have enough space to write in. I do want to do something to the top, but I didn’t have the creativity to make it more colorful lol. I need to use a couple pages to experiment.

The last pages is week 5 and another quotes page because I know this month will be a tough one. I still haven’t exercised but that’s only because my sleep is out-of-whack, but I WILL be starting soon. This is just a reminder to not be too hard on myself and to keep going!

I know the theme didn’t stick throughout the pages, but at least my accent color remained the same, lol. I will do a better job with that next month, I promise. I’m actually quite excited to plan out my pages.

If anyone is bullet journaling, I’d love to know what kind of pages you all have as well!

  1. Ooh LOVE it, Rossy! I love all the different spreads you have for January, especially the heath & fitness trackers. I think the graphs were a genius idea and it’ll be really helpful to have such a visual representation of your progress. Also, your handwriting throughout is so pretty! Very impressive. ❤

    1. Thanks Courtney! I think I made a good decision with the graphs, I felt like just looking at my whole year tracker from my set up wouldn’t be enough lol.
Thanks! In reality my handwriting is not as legible so I tried really hard to use other fonts to mask how crappu it truly is lol.

    1. Thank you! In reality I feel like it’s more minimalist, maybe the pop or color makes it look more artsy? Next month I will be adding more art to it to make it colorful and interesting and more inviting and exciting to use lol.
I’m glad to hear I’ve inspired you to add more to yours, I’d love to know what you end up adding! 🤗🤗

    1. Thanks so much! I’m still working on making it look more organized, some layouts are not good enough lol.
And omg I’m the same way, I’m hoping using this bullet journal will minimize my own need to write things and lists elsewhere. I do have another journal specifically for ideas but they kind of go together lol.

  2. I think the accent color being the same on every page makes up for you not using the snowflake theme throughout. I love the cover and quotes pages best. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing next month already!

Hope all is well with you, Rossy, & that whatever came up isn’t too bad. ♡

    1. Yeah those are the only themed ones. Looks a bit minimalist with a pop of color but I’m excited to add more doodles to the pages in the upcoming months.
I’m well just swamped with life haha. Hope you’re doing great! I’m barely catching up on reading posts

      1. I am looking forward to your upcoming months!! Hope you’re doing well, too, despite the busy-ness! ❤ & I feel you! I had been behind on read posts since well before Christmas and oh my gosh, today, I finally hit posts that were written less than 24 hrs ago. It felt like it would never happen, my heart skipped a beat I think LOL!

        1. Besides having caught some bug I’m fine haha my head is a jumbled mess because I haven’t slept lol.
Ah yeah I love that I used to be so good at keeping up to each day’s posts. I think I’ll have to read everyday no matter what so I don’t fall behind.

          1. Aw I’m sorry babe 😦 it’s always so hard to sleep when you’re not feeling well but it’s the only thing that will make you better! I hope you’re able to have a satisfying, long sleep soon. ❤

I finally caught up on blog posts but now I'm a bit sad because I have no more to read lol!

          2. 8 hours is never even enough. 😛 To feel completely me, I need 10 hours of sleep but I don’t always wanna sleep so long! I hope you can find something that will help with your insomnia. ❤ You need those deep sleeps!!

It seems like everyone was posting tons the week of Christmas all the way until the first week of January and then they all stopped so it wasn't so hard to catch up anymore.

          3. Yeah I noticed!! I was surprised myself when I caught up so quickly I thought I was missing some posts because the app sometimes glitches and doesn’t show me the days in between when I haven’t read in a while but no. I’m actually glad I didn’t post in December because I had planned on blogging pretty much every day for two weeks. Glad that fell through haha.

          4. I probably would have gotten burnt out too. I planned too much for myself it was impossible to do any of it with my already packed schedule lol. I’m gonna ease back into blogging, but I do have plenty of ideas already 🙂
