Influenster — Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Review

I got this eyebrow pencil a very long time ago, I believe over the summer. I just never wrote a blog post on it because I wasn’t required to. It’s my current go-to brow product so I thought I could review this for you guys today.

This brow pencil replaced an old favorite, the IT Cosmetics Brow Power, and for all the right reasons! I have been using this product consistently for the last 6 months or so. It is also the one I used in my eyebrow routine video:

Packaging

I love the packaging, it’s very beautiful and different than your average eyebrow pencil. It’s very sturdy and it has a short, ridge-like section where you can easily grip it if you want more precision. I personally hold it further out because I like to start lightly. I find that the closer I am to the tip, the darker I draw on my eyebrows, and I don’t always like that.

I also love the spoolie end, this one is the softest I have ever come across so right off the bat I could tell that this is a high-quality product. It’s very well made.

Formula & Application

The formula is quite nice and the ultra-fine tip makes filling in my brows an easy task. I have this pencil in the shade 4 and while it is medium, it comes quite close to my actual hair color. Although, it has a slight orange tint which is more noticeable when I fill in my brows a lot darker.

When I draw my eyebrows lightly, I don’t need to use a fiber gel on top to cancel out those orange tones. Most days when I use it I don’t need to hide the tones because they don’t show up as much.

This pencil is so easy to use. It draws natural brows and the fine tip is perfect for precision and for hair-like strokes. It wears well too, I’d agree that it lasts 12 hours, possibly even longer. One more thing I love is that it doesn’t lose its shape like most eyebrow pencils, so that’s a huge plus!

I would repurchase if it wasn’t for the price and non-CF status of the brand, but the product itself is stellar! Either way, this is my current go-to product, I use it pretty much every single day and I’m coming close to finishing it, which I’m not looking forward to.

It’s such an easy to use product. I’ve only tried a handful of eyebrow pencils but this one has been my favorite so far, I almost consider it my holy-grail of brow products.
