So I know I haven’t reviewed a ton of products from past Boxycharm boxes, but I will be doing separate product reviews like I did with my Boxycharm Product Reviews. I also thought I could start up again with my monthly reviews from each box, unless I don’t end up using some products.
Let’s get started and see if this box was a hit!
Box Contents:
- Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Strength + Moisture Leave-In Mask
- Tarte Limited Edition Rainforest of the Sea Highlighting Palette Vol. III
- Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Pencil
- Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mask (2 Pack)
- Bite Amuse Bouche in Dragonfruit
NOTE: The only product I will NOT be reviewing is the Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Pencil because I put it in a giveaway pile. I just have too many eyeliners right now.

Mini Product Review:
I have received this product countless times through Ipsy, Sephora and now Boxycharm and I love receiving it every single time. It’s one of the only products that work so well for my hair. I go through it so quickly once I start using it!

Bite Beauty
Amuse Bouche in Dragonfruit
Quick Description & Claims:
This high-impact lipstick in multi-dimensional shades was handcrafted to deliver intense moisture and creamy wear. This lipstick serves, bold, creamy color and an unforgettable sensorial experience in one single swipe.
Mini Product Review:
I can attest to the fact that this lipstick IS amazing and so pigmented in one single swipe. It’s amazing and super creamy! I had the opportunity to get a lippie set from Sephora back in October for my birthday which was the very first time I ever tried Bite Beauty lipsticks and I love them!
I wasn’t sure about this specific shade, it just looks so bold as a swatch, and when I tried it on the lips, it look a bit lighter/brighter, it leans more towards a fuchsia shade, and I didn’t like that very much. Maybe I’ll come around with the shade later, but at the moment I’m not digging the shade. As I mentioned, the formula is phenomenal so no complaints there.
Cruelty Free? Yes!
Tarte
Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. III
Quick Description & Claims:
Dive into this vegan, crease-free eyeshadow palette that features seven highly reflective plush microshimmers, and one matte nude that serves as the perfect transition shade. This blendable and longwear formula is enriched with vitamin E and antioxidants, helping to hydrate and protect the lids.
Mini Product Review:
So the description sounds wonderful and all, but when I opened the palette I couldn’t help but feel disappointed? It didn’t look interesting to me despite how pretty the packaging is.
When I swatched it, that was even worse. Yes, the swatches are pretty because I was actually trying here, but it took several swipes to even be able to see their pigment the way you see it in photos. They’re not pigmented, I had a hard time picking up the the shadows with my brushes. I was literally being so aggressive just to get product on my brush! *face palm*
It’s a shame because I was excited when I found out they were supposedly “limited edition” palettes AND vegan! And the ingredients made this palette sound so good too but it just fell kind of really short for me.
The ONLY matte shade in this palette didn’t even show up on my skin so it’s a useless shade for me. The rest of the shades take a lot to build up. It’s best to apply them with your fingers but even then most of the shadow will* stay on your finger. I had to practically drag my finger onto my lid to get some color.
Seriously, just a disappointing palette. I don’t know if I should throw it away, or send it to my mom and sis who might get a use out of it since they don’t wear much makeup. I don’t know… I guess I’ll see.. But no, I don’t recommend it at ALL! Save your money!
Cruelty Free? Yes, and vegan!
Tatcha
Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mask
Quick Description & Claims:
Nourish skin from within using this lightweight blend of rice germ oil, vitamin E, essential fatty acids and highly concentrated botanical oils and extracts. Each mask is designed for maximum absorption, delivering 20mL of skin-quenching serum and imparting an instant dewy, luminous glow. A scientifically perfected trio of fermented Japanese anti-aging superfoods like green tea, rice, and algae instantly restore skin’s health and radiance.
Mini Product Review:
I was really excited when I found out we would be getting some Tatcha products, because they’re expensive! I’ve always heard how good their skincare is and I’m also so excited to try new brands, and even more because they take so much inspo from J-beauty!
Anyway, when I opened the mask it was dripping! I had to rush over my sink before pulling it out completely. The mask fit my face a bit too big as well, which was a bummer. However, despite the wetness and largeness of the mask, it didn’t slip off my face and it also contained enough serum to massage over my neck and decolletage.
I didn’t experience any burning or irritation while wearing the mask. It felt cooling and hydrating and my skin felt nice and dewy after taking it off. I skipped facial oil to really test it overnight and into the next morning. I’m proud to report that my skin felt nice when I woke up the next morning! I love the mask, and would love to treat myself to these products for a luxurious at-home spa day!

Dragonfruit is gorgeous – my favourite type of lip color! The Tarte eyeshadow palette looks pretty in the pan but a bit lacklustre when swatched 😦

It is, I just need to come around with it lol. It’s not the type of shade I would normally reach for at this time, perhaps later. Or it might come in handy for future looks. 🙂
No kidding! I’m glad you see it too! What a disappointment that palette!

I haven’t tried any of these brands or products Rossy, so I really enjoyed your review. The hair mask sounds dreamy and I’m going to keep my eye out for it next time I’m at a Sephora… I’d assume they sell it their if you’ve received one in a Sephora box before anyway!
Eew, so dissapointing about the Tarte palette! The packaging makes it look like it’s going to be the most exciting thing ever but honestly that shade range is basic? They also more look like highlighting colours than eyeshadows to be honest! It’s a shame that the quality isn’t that great either to be honest… what a waste! I’m glad you were honest so people know not to waste their money 😂
I’m glad you enjoyed the face masks! They look really pretty (the packaging at least)! Great review Rossy ❤️🌹

Yeah the mask was amazing, even though it was a bit big and practically dripping, I’d buy it! And yes, I believe they do sell this brand at Sephora. 🙂
I KNOWWW!!!! T_T Imagine my disappointment when I finally swatched it and used it on the eyes! Ugh!!!! And yes, exactly! More like highlighting shades than anything, such a weird and disappointing palette..

Totally agree about the Tarte palette. It was such a miss! All of the shades are nearly the same & yeah the pigmentation was just not there. I LOVE the color of that lippie, I’m so jealous. I bet it looks pretty on you! I thought the face masks were really nice, too. 😄

I was BUMMED! I’m sending it to my mom and sis lol. They dont wear makeup so even if my sis doesn’t like it my mom will.
I wish I liked the color of the lippie a bit more but at the moment I dont care for it lol. But the formula is so so good!! I’m almost sad its not a different shade. I swear sometimes they pick the non wearable shades for boxes lol.

I know, so was I! I hope the new Tarte palette I got performs much better. I feel like they include the unwearable shades into sub boxes, too, because they sell less. 😛 I wish my lippie had been a different color, too.
