Harry Potter Themed Bullet Journal — October 2019

Hii dolls!

I’m sorry I didn’t have a BuJo post last month. Also, sorry this didn’t get published sooner. Truth be told I stopped using my journal around the same time I stopped blogging so I do not have any spreads for September. I do not want to stop using my bujo because it has been helpful and it’s very fun tracking everything soooo….I’m back with one today!

As you’ve seen from the title, this month’s bujo is Harry Potter themed! I wanted to do a witchy themed but didn’t think I could pull it off so I got loads of inspo from Pinterest and got started on this one! 🙂

Let’s get started and let me tell you a bit each spread. (It’s very short today!)

Cover Spread

I found this cool design for the front page (without the circle), and decided to recreate it. I added the circle because it looks a bit more magical. More like you’re looking through a window into a magic world! I also tried my best to copy the HP font.

For the page on the right, I so badly wanted to draw the Ravenclaw crest (yes, I’m a Ravenclaw!! 😀) but it looked a bit too complex for me to draw so I tried to find something much more simpler. I also thought it would be cool to put my “Hogwarts Profile” in the front.

Calendar Spread

These spreads tend to look the same each month. The only thing that changes is the font and the doodles. So nothing new here. I still like how it looks though, very simple with a few doodles to fill in the space.

Trackers & Brain Dump Page

Ah yes.. Trackers. Lots of them this month since I managed to stop tracking everything almost two months ago. I liked how Amanda Rachel Lee drew scroll paper on her BuJo last year, and thought that looked cool so I decided to do it as well.

The Brain Dump is probably my favorite page this month, solely because I added lots and lots of doodles to this page. I know there’s not much space to write in, but I highly doubt I will be filling up this page considering this is my first month back after a while. My favorite doodles are the Sorting Hat and the black feather.

Weekly Spread

I don’t know whether I will change up the layout for these spreads, but I am thinking of keeping it blue and yellow (or bronze) to represent my house! 😀 And since I didn’t add a a quote anywhere else, I had to one here: “Magic is all around you” with some very magical doodles around it.

And since I liked the scroll paper so much, I decided to draw it again for my notes. Might end up drawing scrolls in my next weekly spreads in case I truly do need more space to write in.

I know it’s only four spreads, but I hope I did it justice! Let me know what you think.
