All Black Lookbook — 5 Outfit Ideas

Heyy lovessss!

I’m so excited about today’s post because I don’t think I’ve ever done one like it before? And the reason I’m excited is because I get to showcase my TRUE style which I think falls between street style and alternative? I could be entirely wrong, but the thing is, my outfits don’t really revolve around trending pieces, and if I ever incorporate a “trendy” piece, more often than not I will mix it up and make it more “me”, if that makes sense.

Anyway, sometimes it’s easier to show outfits in video so if you want to see these outfits in action, take a look at my latest video:

I’m really proud of summoning the courage to do this. I had the idea when I uploaded this OOTD in my stories on my personal IG (I ended up sharing it on my blog IG as well). I had been wearing loads of black outfits prior to that so I got inspired. 🙂

Harajuku in Black

This outfit was very much inspired by Japan Fashion, more specifically Harajuku but all black everything. I think the kitty tights give it an element of “cute” (or should I say kawaii? LOL).

I love everything about this outfit and it was the perfect excuse to wear these boot heels and my kitty tights. Truth be told I love both of those things!!

“Party” Outfit

When it comes to dressing up I think there’s several ways to dress up a skirt. I love bodycon skirts and dresses but sometimes I want something puffy like this skater skirt that I feel accentuates my body shape in a different way. Especially when paired with a crop top.

I also love these ankle strap heels and of course I can change up my clutch or get a purse if I really wanted, to elevate the look from casual to more sophisticated and elegant.

Note: on my video I show different clutches and a purse w/a black coat.

Street Style
Tokyo Ghoul Themed

This might be one of my favorite outfits of all time. I’m wearing a TK t-shirt and have a backpack as an accessory. The sneaker wedges have been my absolute fave ever since I bought them! And of course, can’t go wrong with black tights to make this outfit a bit more cozy.

I think if I had some mesh or fishnet stockings it would give it a punk/emo/scene kind of vibe to it and considering I did go through an emo phase in HS, I would be okay with that, LOL!

Day Out / Night Out

This outfit can be more casual with regular sneakers and a fleece sweater (as I showed in my video). But here I am showing you what this outfit looks like with wedges.

In my video I did also show this outfit paired with a purse and a winter coat for a night-out and I think it looks super gorgeous. Interesting how a simple pair of shoes, a coat and a purse can drastically change a day outfit to a night out outfit!

Comfy / Workout

Lastly, the comfiest of outfits, or for working out, you choose. Personally this is my go-to for either one. It’s comfy enough to move around in while exercising and it’s just as great for lounging.

I do also show three different shoes with this outfit on my video, but here I am showing it with some running shoes and a fanny pack for when I’m getting ready to go out for a walk or a jog (because I don’t run, lol). And as small as this fanny pack may seem, it fits my phone, keys, and ID and cards if needed.

So those are all my outfits my loves. I’d love to know what you guys think of each one, and which is your favorite. I’m sorry if the photos are not great quality. When I was filming this video I had to do it myself so I was forced to take some video stills but still, the outfits are super cute and I’m obsessed with each one.
