I am sharing my quarter empties today! I wish I could do this every month but there is no way in hell I can pull that off, lol. Shout out to those of you who can empty up to 15 or more products every month! You guys are amazing!
I thought about dropping this from my blog but then I realized that I don’t review EVERYTHING I buy. So when I empty something, it can still be reviewed and you guys can know my thoughts on said products because most of you do* ask me what I think.
Anyway, let’s get started right away!
I absolutely loved the Botanics Hydration Burst 3 in Micellar Cleanser. It really got some makeup off, it was perfect to use on my lazy days when I didn’t want to bother with my skincare routine. It was hydrating and nice. I wish I could buy it again!
The Ulta Beauty Smoothing Sea Kelp sheet mask was very very wet when taken out and was hard to unfold. The holes for eyes and mouth were smaller so that was annoying, but the mask stayed on the entire time. It was hydrating, cooling, no irritation, no burning and no stinging.
NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Scrub was a really nice exfoliator. It didn’t leave any residue nor did my skin feel stripped, it was perfect! It worked so so well, that using it once every two weeks was enough. I highly recommend and would love to purchase a full size!
Onto the ones I really loved! The Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Face Oil was such a favorite almost immediately. I looved how it looked on my skin, it gave me a ‘glow from within’ and it made my skin look amazing! It looked great under makeup and even just on its own. I totally want to purchase it with my own money!
Lastly from this section, I got two products from Oh K!: their Chok Chok Illuminating Serum and their Superfood Acai Berry Sheet Mask.
I do want to talk about these so badly but I am going to wait on that for when I write my One Brand Focus on this brand. Just know, I really loved these products! 😉

The Wet n Wild Shutter Shock Eyelashes are not the best, and the glue that comes with it, is also not the best, but I have so many of these from when I was practicing when I first started using lashes. They’re affordable but I recommend others.
The Lashaholic Instaglam Lashes compared to the WnW ones are AMAZING! I absolutely love them and my bestie Hunida sent me another one so I am excited to have a second pair, because one of these lashes I accidentally ripped while trying to clean it lol. They were already on their last legs, I used them soo much! I highly recommend!
I really liked this NYX Micro Brow Pencil, the tip was really nice and the pencil felt really smooth. I also liked the shade which I believe was brunette? It didn’t look too warm, which typically happens. I liked it and it’s at the top of the list of me to repurchase.
A lot of people asked me for my opinion on the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, so I decided to try this asap. I must say, I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would considering many people say it’s their HG. It’s not mine. I felt like I had to work way too hard to get my lashes to look good. So no, I didn’t like it.

Bath & Body
The Bodycology Cherry Blossom Body Cream was a nice scent, one of my favorites of all-time. The body cream felt a bit thick and was not the smoothest to apply. However, if I applied it after getting out of the shower, it was easier to apply it onto my wet skin. This lotion is only good for colder months, I didn’t like it in the warmer weather. I have one more tube of this so I will be rotating this for another this summer.
Next I emptied two Groovi Beauty x Ulta Holiday Stocking Stuffers: Sparkling Rose Hand Cream and Toasted Vanilla Body Scrub
The Sparkling Rose Hand Cream was pretty okay. The scent was not too bad but it was pretty strong in my opinion, so I don’t think everyone would like it. The hand cream itself was lightweight but it didn’t feel as moisturizing. The Toasted Vanilla Body Scrub was not my favorite scent, but only because I don’t care for sweet-scented things. As for the scrub, it wasn’t the best. It felt more watery with little to no exfoliating bits in it and I also couldn’t figure out what they had used for the exfoliant. Either way, not the best.

De-cluttered / Discards
Lots of Revlon nail polishes that I’ve had for too long that I no longer care for. A Paris Hilton Shimmering Body Spray that I’ve also had for a long time. It smells like alcohol now so I don’t want to use it anymore. The Physician’s Formula Argan Wear 2-in- Argan Oil Primer I didn’t like it as much, so I’ve tried many times to use it and just didn’t care to keep using it. It’s a bit too oily and while I appreciate it’s multi-purpose use, I didn’t care enough to keep it anymore.
I’m also tossing out a Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon which kind of dried out but it was amazing and glides easily when it’s freshly opened. Lastly, the KVD Signature Brow Precision Pencil which was absolutely awful! I got this in a recent Boxycharm box and was really looking forward to giving this brand another shot and was really disappointed. The color was grey instead of brown? I had to warm it up in order for it to work, and* it didn’t feel smooth nor did it glide on my skin. It tugged and it hurt to keep passing it over, so I just gave up. I don’t recommend it!
So that’s all I have today dolls. I am still working on part 4 of my Black-owned Beauty Brands mini series (plus more) so please be sure to check what I’ve already posted. I am excited to share many reviews and hopefully a few more lookbooks. 🙂
What have you emptied lately?
Are you the type of person who empties things quickly, or slowly?
Have a great weekend dolls! ❤
