Black-Owned Beauty Brands I Want to Support, Pt. 4

Happy Monday dolls!

This is the last part in this mini series! I may end up sharing more brands in the future, but for now, this is a pretty lengthy list for all of us to get started on. Please don’t forget to check out my previous posts if you’ve missed them!

Let’s jump right into this list! šŸ™‚

Range Beauty

Cruelty-Free: Yes, according to their site.

“The only foundation made with acne and eczema in mind. Hydrating. Clean ingredients. All skin types.”

That above is taken from their site and that’s actually what attracted me to this brand in the first place. They specialize in foundations with acne and eczema in mind, for those of you who deal with that. I have acne prone skin and it can be hard finding products that won’t break you out, clog your pores, and look good on your skin. I am itching to get one of their foundations but I don’t know my exact shade.

Rosen Skincare

Cruelty-Free: UNCONFIRMED!

Another brand made with acne prone skin in mind! Their prices are mid-range and many looks really nice, and they are formulated with clean ingredients. Cannot wait to try some of their stuff!

Salt Spray Soap Co.

Cruelty-Free: UNCONFIRMED!
*On my MUST TRY List*

This is a bath & body brand and while they do not have that many products, I literally want to try everything! They have soap, scrubs, body oil, body butter, and lip balms in 6 different scents plus unscented!

Sacha Cosmetics

Cruelty-Free: Yes, according to their site.

I was surprised to see they had a large variety of products, foundations, cream to powder products, lipsticks, etc. What they seem to be known for is their Buttercup Setting Powder and honestly it caught my eye too. They also have makeup artist palettes (blush, concealer, foundation) so if you’re an aspiring MUA, check them out!

TPH by Taraji

Cruelty-Free: Yes, according to their site.

Taraji is such a beautiful woman and amazing actress, I was so stoked to find out she had a hair care brand and even more so when I saw the prices! So affordable, you guys!! Their site is so easy to navigate, they have products by hair type so you don’t have to guess. The packaging looks so cute and unique, I cannot wait to get my hands on some of these. This brand is apparently available at Target, so Target-goers rejoice!

Undefined Beauty

Cruelty-Free: Yes and vegan, according to their site.

This brand is not only vegan but uses CBD in their products and are a clean brand which is becoming such an important thing when it comes to skincare and makeup. They only have 6 products, and are pricier than most of the brands I have included in this mini series. However, I have my eye on their Glow Elixir! It has so many awesome ingredients and just look at it! šŸ˜€ ā¤

Uoma Beauty

Cruelty-Free: Yes w/some vegan products.
Confirmed by Logical Harmony

This brand is more high-end, as their prices are pretty high, however, the brand seems to already have a cult following thanks to Nikkie Tutorials who constantly uses their foundation. Their products just look real nice!

Zodiac Cosmetics

Cruelty-Free:

I couldn’t find an ‘About’ section in their site but they are a relatively small brand. Of course the brand name caught my eye immediately but I didn’t imagine that I’d see palettes for each Sun sign! A zodiac inspired brand is such a cool concept. They also have lashes, multi-chrome pigments that look insane, highlighters and makeup tools.

Well that is the end to this mini series covering all of the brands that I would love to support, and thanks so much for tuning in each Monday. I know that it’s not that many brands, and that there are far more out there, I’m barely scratching the surface here. However, the beauty community is a large one and mentioning every single one is next to impossible because new brands are coming out constantly and also some are just starting out and not as well known. Most of these are fairly affordable, with only a few that are high-end, so most of these brands should* be available to purchase to everyone in the U.S.

For those of you in Europe, my girl Mimi from Blushy Darling has a post covering Black-owned brands that are available over there! So please be sure to check it out here and show her some love because these kinds of posts do take some time and lots of research to put them together.

Have an amazing week you guys! Be sure to follow my blog if you’re not yet doing so, to keep reading more content from yours truly. I got several reviews coming up! šŸ™‚

  1. I have a ton of catching up to do, but I love how you’re sharing Black-owned brands still! You are incredible for putting this mini series together. I miss chatting with you and I’m going to get back into blogging regularly again! I’ve been elsewhere lately and I need to figure out how to split up my time better since I miss this space. Anyway, I saw there was some lipstick brand that’s Black-owned so I need to be on the search for it!

    1. I miss you too!! I haven’t been reading lately and I am pretty sure there are some of your posts that I haven’t read so I need to get on that soon šŸ™‚

      1. I haven’t posted in like almost a month, so I don’t think you’ve missed much with me! Haha. I know I’ve missed a lot from you though. We’ve been well and I hope your family is doing all right! I hate how the virus is dragging on while other countries are successful. So frustrating.

        1. LOL please do NOT feel pressured to catch up on every single post!! you can just browse and read what interests you the most šŸ™‚ after all that’s always been my motto for my audience šŸ™‚ only read what you like LOL

Same, it’s been very infuriating and it’s bringing back a lot of stress and anxiety on top of stress from other issues I’ve had to deal with lately. I noticed Ive been really restless at night and have a hard time falling asleep and getting up in the morning. Luckily I recognize the symptoms of my stress and anxiety turning into near depression so I am doing my best to take it one day at a time and letting go of many emotions because it’s only doing me harm. šŸ™‚ Other than that, I think my boys are doing better than I am LOL blogging has helped to escape my mind a bit šŸ™‚

          1. Yes, same to you! Iā€™m so sorry to hear about the stress and anxiety, but Iā€™m glad you recognized the symptoms of depression beforehand! Iā€™ll keep you in my thoughts and K hope you are able to enjoy the things you love to keep your spirits up. Iā€™m so worried about the state of things right now too. So thankful for blogging and writing! ā™”
