New Goodies — July 2020 Sephora Haul

Heyy dolls!

I wasn’t supposed to buy makeup but believe it or not, this isn’t even my last haul, ha! There is another one I’m still waiting on to get shipped, but anyway..

I normally don’t do hauls like this one in Sephora because of how expensive the products are. However, I got a gift card from someone because they know I love makeup, and I decided to treat myself.

There was a mix-up and my initial package was never received, so I got a refund and set out to the mall to buy what I wanted, only to be told my gift card didn’t have the money. The money ended up on my account even though the rep told me it could be used in-store but anyway… They were still very nice about everything, even at the store, so I went and decided to buy the stuff in-store and went back online to buy a few more things.

So here’s what I got:

You guys might remember I said I wanted to support Black-owned brands, so the more obvious ones available from Sephora are Fenty Beauty and Briogeo.

Since Fenty Beauty was having a sale on their lipsticks, I could not pass up the chance to get one plus a really gorgeous palette. These were bought in-store. I got the Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette in the shade 5 Peach and the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Saw-C.

From Brigeo, I got the Farewell Frizz Frizz Control travel set, only available online. It comes with a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and heat-protectant creme.

These next products are both from online and in-store.

Starting with the sample-sized Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil which I got online for free using a discount code.

Next the Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser mini, bought online. Everyone raves about the brand on IG, and this was the cheapest thing I could find.

Lastly, from in-store, Tatcha The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser mini.

As for samples; I got the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint because Erica has raved about this brand, and Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation, because it’s a pricey brand and Black-owned. I’m excited to try both and see how my skin likes them.

And that is it. Possibly my biggest haul from Sephora yet. I actually have been really intrigued by high-end skincare and makeup, so perhaps I will be trying other brands in the future. For now, I think it’s time I do a No Spend Challenge. 🙂

What is your most recent haul? Where and what did you buy?
What are some new releases or products you are eager to get next?

Have a lovely Friday and weekend! ❤ xx

  1. I love that the briogeo products came in that cute little pink makeup bag!! The Biossance Vitamin C and rose oil sounds so good! I can’t believe you got it for free yay to discount codes!! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that. I use a vitamin C oil on my face and it’s literally the best thing ever but the one I get costs an arm and leg so if I can find an alternative that’s just as good, I’d for sure try it out! No major hauls for me, other than like plants and furniture that we needed to replace lol But I am definitely looking to find some nice home decor decorations so hopefully that’ll be my next haul! 🙂 have a great weekend Rossy!!! ❤

    1. I know I love it! 😀 It actually feels really nice 🙂
I couldn’t believe I could get stuff for free either! I never would have known if it wasn’t for the Honey browser extension lol
I am currently using the Physician’s Formula Vitamin C and while i like it, I can’t repurchase due to their non-CF status now 😦 but I saw that Ole Henriksen is CF (will have to do more research first) but that was the first vitamin C product I ever tried and absolutely loved it. I was a game changer for me.
I would love to get plants for my home too and also start a garden but my plants die indoors and I have to fix the outside first too and invest in tools and materials before I even think about starting a veggie garden.
Hope your weekend has been great 🙂

  2. The Fenty palette is beautiful, the Briogeo travel set would be amazing to try and I’m also dying to try the ilia foundation, too bad they aren’t available here. It really sounds amazing

    1. I know! I wish I had this travel set when I actually traveled, now it seems kind of pointless to have but it’s also great that I will be able to try these products and see if they work for my hair. 🙂
That’s too bad ILIA is not available there, from what I hear, their products are really amazing!

    1. My reviews may be put on hold while I try to get other reviews out but at least that will give me a lot of time to really test these products out 🙂
Oooh will you be posting that haul? If not, I wanna know what you got 😀

  3. So excited you decided to get the ILIA! Please let me know what you think after you’ve had the chance to test. I’m also super curious to hear about the Pat McGrath foundation – I’ve never tried any of her bases before. The Fenty stuff you got looks beautiful, especially that lippy!

    1. I plan on testing them both and writing the reviews together since they’re both samples 🙂 I would like to try them this summer to see how they hold up in warm weather 🙂
The Fenty lippie is so so stunning, but I am also biased because I love oranges LOL

    1. I am so excited to use it! I’ve always wanted to try the brand and thanks to Boxycharm last year, I was able to try their sheet masks. 🙂 this would be my 2nd product to try, hope I like it 🙂
If I end up reviewing this product, I may review it on my IG since it’s such a small thing and probably won’t need a full post to write about it LOL
