What’s New at Beautycounter? — Packaging Relaunch + New Shades

Since I’m doing this pop-up, Genny was able to show me what Beautycounter was going to relaunch today, a few days in advance. She also gave me lots of info that I will be sharing with you as well. Let me tell you, I was swooning! Total emoji heart eyes, not going to lie!

They also gave a short sneak peek on what it would be… and spoiler alert if you haven’t seen it yet: It’s GLOSSES and they look stunning! But first, let me share what’s new, because it is so important to know, especially when it comes to ingredients.

What’s New?

Aside from the beautiful glosses, Beautycounter set out to find a responsible source that not only makes the highest-quality, certified organic vanilla—but also cares about the farmers cultivating it.

Certified Organic Vanilla

Vanilla is one of the most popular scents in the world and it is used across food, perfume, and beauty. However sweet, the vanilla industry is known for human rights issues.

Their ECOCERT-certified organic vanilla is sourced through a woman-owned supplier who partners with cooperatives and farmers in Madagascar. They support local communities through initiatives like funding for clean drinking water, health care, and education.

Their supplier is also an active member of the Sustainable Vanilla Initiative, which promotes the long-term stable supply of high-quality, sustainably sourced natural vanilla.

This is amazing news because you have the comfort of knowing that each ingredient used by Beautycounter is not only sustainable, but quality of life for farmers has improved and they are being treated right! Thanks to Genny for sharing this information with me so I can share it with you as well.

Sheer Genius Conditioning Lipsticks

I already had the pleasure of trying this amazing lipstick and let me tell you, it is wonderful and moisturizing! It has been a while since I’ve been in love with lipsticks; I couldn’t stop wearing liquid lipsticks for who knows how long. Enter this beauty—I did a 180° back to lipsticks. But not just any lipstick, this one!

I have not been able to stop wearing this lipstick since I got it because it feels so good on my lips! I have the shade Lily, a luminous neutral pink, which is a stunning everyday shade; it is comfortable, lightweight, and like I said, moisturizing! It is also buildable and the sheen is beautiful. I used it recently for my Day to Night looks!

I have said this before but everyone needs to have at least one of these! It totally feels like a nice lip balm! If you love moisturizing lipsticks, I guarantee you will fall in love with this one too.

Alright, I’ve gushed plenty about this lipstick, it’s time to show you what the new packaging looks like because I am digging it! Totally on brand. They have been revamping their packaging for many products and I really love the new look.
