Spring Tulip OOTD at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

We’re traveling back in time to spring!

I love the spring time for many reasons, but blooming flowers is the main one. We do get rained on a lot here in the PNW, so that can dampen our spirits a bit, but getting to see flowers on a nice spring day, just makes me super happy.

I found this tulip farm many years ago when my son was 2 and we have been going there nearly every year. This year I really wanted to take some photos but didn’t get to take too many. Even so, I wanted to share some shots that looked good during golden hour, thanks to my husband! Maybe next year we can go back and try again 🙂

Here are the first photos we took when we got there;

Look at those gorgeous yellow tulips!! 😀

Afterward we enjoyed some time in the sun, did some fun activities, enjoyed the flowers, and had a mimosa with a friend before getting food and heading back home.

He took so many photos I had a hard time choosing. My husband is getting better at taking pictures and we don’t even do it that often. I’m just overjoyed that he is even doing this for me, honestly.

I really wish we would have picked a better area with more tulips but my son was already fussing about going home, oh well. We have another reason to go back next year, so that means I have a few more months to plan my outfit out!

  1. I need to see if there are any flower fields like this near me. Since a few posts ago, I instantly thought that your husband did a great job with these photos! Haha. I feel so awkward taking photos and I need to work on that. Super sweet of him to take so many for you too. I hope your summer has been well, Rossy!

    1. You should look up what flower fields (if any) are near you. You never know you might have several 😃😃
      I didn’t get to go to the lavender field, or see the dahlias or sunflowers. I’m sure there are more im missing but its been a busy summer, lots of work and little time to play or enjoy the outdoors. Maybe next year. 👍🏻
