Feeling Blue MOTD

Hii dolls!

Got a look for you today! I love the song “Blue Monday” by New Order, such an oldie but a goodie, and I’m often inspired by music to want to experiment with makeup, but I haven’t done that in a while. I want to bring that back. Being Monday, I thought I could share this look too because it’s a lot of blue! πŸ™‚

I should have taken a picture of the outfit too because it was cute but oh well. Have you noticed I’ve been all about the color blue lately? I love it. Such a great color! Here we go!

I’ve been digging the blue pastels lately from the Colourpop In A Trance palette, I just can’t seem to get enough! If you read my lookbook of this palette, you might remember me saying that if you really pack the shadow on, it really pops, and this is a true representation of how even pastel shades can be highly pigmented and bright.

Makeup Details:

e.l.f. Cosmetics Ultra Precise Brow Pencil in Brunette | Milani Cosmetics Precision Brow in 160 Ebony | Essence Cosmetics Make Me Brow Fiber Gel | Colourpop in A Trance Eyeshadow Palette, shades used: Transcend Dance, Future Self, Clarity | CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion Waterproof Mascara | Bare Minerals Original Foundation | Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Blush Vintage Rouge | The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter | HIPDOT x Spongebob Jellyfish Lip Gloss in Coral Blue

I love the overall look and how fresh it looks. It borders on a wintry look but it can also pass of for a spring look. Am I wrong? I can’t wait to experiment some more with makeup. I miss doing intricate and complex looks, I feel like I’ve had to fall back on more simpler looks lately and it sucks so much. But we’ll keep going, one day at a time. I should have more looks later this season. πŸ™‚

How do you feel about the color blue in makeup?
