Brand Focus & Review — Bliss

Hi again dolls!

I have been meaning to write this blog post for quite some time as I’ve had the chance to try several products from this brand and have concluded that I like their products! But don’t take my word for it either, I highly suggest you go and try them yourself. I’ve had luck in finding their minis at Ulta and Target, so next time you’re there, take a look!

I was first introduced to this brand thanks to Influenster when I received their Glowing 20’s VoxBox back in February 2020. The voxbox had their Bright Idea Vitamin C Moisturizer and I was so pleased with it I decided to purchase a few more products on my own.

This moisturizer has so many great qualities. Firstly, the vitamin C they use is the 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid which is the most stable and most effective form of vitamin C. I have actually seen a lot of other brands starting to use this form of vitamin C and it has worked well for me in the past. It has helped reduce the appearance of my dark spots due to my acne and it visibly brightens and plumps the skin.

The formula also contains:

Tri-peptides to boost the skin’s natural elasticity,
Green tea extract which is packed with powerful antioxidants to help reinforce the skin’s natural defenses against radical damage, and
Plant-derived carbohydrate complex known for its ability to bind to skin and its quick-absorbing texture delivers long-lasting, deep hydration.

This moisturizer is also lightweight, and is free from parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES, petrolatum, mineral oil and formaldehyde to name a few. It does have a citrus scent, just in case you like your skincare fragrance-free.

My skin felt moisturized and deeply hydrated. After using it for a few weeks I started to visibly see a change in the appearance of my skin. I totally need to purchase a full size.

Hangover Fix
Holographic Foil Sheet Mask

This foil-backed, holographic sheet mask replenishes and re-balances dull, dehydrated skin for an instantly brighter, revived complexion. Essential probiotics and electrolytes help enhance skin’s natural defense barrier and protect against free radicals. Hugs facial contours and forms a protective barrier to intensify serum delivery and absorption (delivers nearly a full bottle of serum in just one treatment!

I did not find this specific sheet mask anywhere on their site, so that means they most likely discontinued it. Even so, I repurchased this mask twice in the past, and really liked it. I had never used a holographic mask and thought it was cute.

My skin felt refreshed and moisturized and certainly hydrated the following morning. I don’t know if the holographic aspect of this made any difference, but it did stay put and did not slide around like most masks do. The mask itself also fit the contours of my face properly.

Ever since the first time I tried these eye masks, they quickly became my favorite. Not only are they super affordable, they are cute! I have repurchased these 3 times by now, and each time I enjoy using them. They feel nice and cooling under my eyes, they did not slip, and the serum absorbed quickly. My favorite time to use these is in the morning to wake up my tired eyes!

I’m in love with this cleanser. It is indeed very gentle, even near my eyes, but I’ll probably never truly try it out and use it to remove heavy eye makeup. I’m scared it’ll sting lol. Even so, I think it’s a great makeup remover for the rest of the face, and I love that you can use it dry to remove makeup and wet to use as a cleanser. I have yet to buy the full size but I will as soon as I run out of all the other cleansers I have.

I loved this whipped mask! The texture is so light and airy and the light fresh floral scent was subtle and not annoying. It felt calming, cooling, breathable, light, and definitely brightened and gave my skin a nice glow. I liked how much it calmed the redness in my skin.

This body butter has the delicious scent of grapefruit and I couldn’t love it more! It is affordable, has plenty of product inside it, and deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin. I loved using it for both the hot and cold months, and would definitely repurchase as I’m running out of my current body lotion. I have never felt such a smooth texture that feels like a lotion, but is a body butter without feeling too heavy or thick.

As someone who is trying to be more conscious, I’ve been leaning more into using mineral over chemical sunscreens. I found this mini at Target and super glad I picked it up.

The texture and color threw me off at first. The texture reminds me of CoverFX’s Blurring Primer, if anyone has ever used it. It felt soft, smooth, and application was nice and easy. This sunscreen has Rosa Canina fruit oil as an ingredient which helps control excess oil while minimizing the appearance of pores (just like the blurring primer!). In terms of color, it reminded me of a tinted moisturizer. I was shocked at first and then relieved when I applied it and it vanished into my skin without a white cast or greasy finish.

It contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which protect from UVA and UVB rays and reflect sun rays instead of absorbing them into the skin, respectively. Their antioxidant blend of blueberry, acai and green tea extract help protect from free radicals. I could not be more happy to have found a great sunscreen.

So happy to have been introduced to this amazing brand and it is also great to see all the progress they are doing when it comes to creating gorgeous, good for you skincare and taking care of the planet simultaneously. I highly recommend you guys also check out this brand.
