Product Empties — June to September 2022

Happy Friday!

I’m here with another empties post. We have practically already caught up in terms of empties, I have no more until the end of the year but you most likely won’t see that until either December or January.

There aren’t a lot of products in this one so it will be a rather short post. Let’s get started.

Hair & Body Care

CK One by Calvin Klein — A nice fragrance for a casual outing. I’m proud of myself for finally going through my fragrances and actually using them. I had stopped using fragrances when I was pregnant due to nausea lol. This is a great one though. It is both fruity and woodsy and it’s a great unisex fragrance.

Yardley London Bar Soap in Shea Buttermilk & Activated Charcoal — The shea butter bar was great and soft while the charcoal one felt a bit gritty to the touch but my skin felt amazing with both of these. I often repurchase these because I love how well they lathers and how moisturizing they feel.

type:A Deodorant (The Visionary scent) — I had used this for such a long time it feels like. I liked that it was like a cream product but I disliked the squeeze-tube packaging, once you’re almost gone it’s really hard to get the product out. It was a nice clean formula though.

Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Conditioner — While it smelled heavenly it did absolutely nothing to repair my hair or moisturize it. My hair was no unmanageable so it took me forever to finish this lol. I do not recommend.

Skincare

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads — These were great and made my skin feel smoother. I tried not to use them on a daily basis so as to not over-exfoliate my skin. I really focused on hydration when using these pads.

Tony Moly I’m Real Lavender Hydrating Sheet Mask — Everyone knows I love TM but they’re not CF. I’m just trying to go through these masks that I have left. This one was greatly hydrating.

Tony Moly Peach Punch Cleansing Water — Literally one of my favorite cleansing waters I have ever tried. It smelled great and made my skin feel clean. I liked using it when I didn’t have a chance to do a full skincare routine and/or had makeup on.

Neutralyze Acne Face Wash — This one was a gift from the brand in exchange for a review on IG. I really liked it and I did notice a difference when used frequently. Again, because it is targeted for acne, I used it every other day or so.

Oh K! Hydrating Jelly Cleanser — A favorite Korean skincare brand, this jelly cleanser is hands down one of my favorites to use for the summer and fall seasons.

Oh K! Glowing Moisturizer — This moisturizer is so hydrating and my skin looks amazing and feels soft. I love how lightweight it is as well.

Bliss Mighty Marshmallow Bright & Radiant Whipped Mask — I’ve done a whole focus on this brand and included this product in there as well. I really love how light and airy this mask felt. I would totally buy the full size!

Bliss Drench & Quench Cream to Water Hydrator — Another great product that I wish I had the full size of. I think I forgot to include this product in the brand focus review, but know that it is one of my favorite creams for the summer time, super hydrating! I highly recommend!

DERMAdoctor Calm Cool + Corrected Moisture Recovery Hyaluronic Acid Serum — Another product that I received in exchange for a review on IG/Amazon. I love HA serums and this one was no different. While this one targets sensitive skin and those with rosacea, it’s not a bad serum to have for normal/oily skin as it hydrates the skin and even calms the redness.

Makeup

Essence Cosmetics I Love Colour Eyeshadow Base — This is a throw-away as I’ve had it for a while. Really good base for when I need a color to really pop. I would buy it again.

NYX Cosmetics Whipped Lip & Cheek Souffle in Cocoa Bean — I’m sad they no longer have these. They were very light and amazing multi-purpose products. Nothing has come close to the way these felt.

True + Luscious Angel Eyes Eyeshadow Primer — Another throw-away. I actually didn’t like this very much and never really used it. It is too thick and really hard to blend into the skin whether I’m using a brush or a sponge.

NYX Cosmetics Control Freak Eyebrow Gel — Love this gel for my brows! It keeps them in place all day! I’ve already repurchased and I highly recommend. It’s definitely a HG of mine and a must have in my vanity and makeup bag.

NYX Cosmetics Micro Brow Pencil in Espresso — Another HG at this point. I’ve repurchased so many times and love using it. This is also the perfect shade for me.

theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter — A favorite highlighter, nothing comes close to this shade and looking the way this look on my skin. It doesn’t have any warm/gold undertones which, don’t get me wrong, looks great on my skin, but sometimes I just want something to give me a nice glow. I need to look into buying the full size.

That is all the remaining empties from this year. I’m working on emptying a ton more these next three months, so wish me luck on that!
