I’m so sorry that this post got published late last night ugh. That was a mistake from my part as I was trying to revert it to a draft…. *sigh* At least it was only the template post and nothing more but still…embarrassing lol.

I’m so exhausted today, yesterday was such a stressful day for me.. So that sucked.. But also, late last night around 1am I smelled something burning and when I checked outside the firetrucks were already here. Turns out the house two houses down from me caught on fire. All of our neighbors came out and we were just trying to figure out what had happened and if everyone was okay.. Yes, everyone is fine but the guy that lives there was telling us that they have to move, and that amidst all the panic, they couldn’t locate their cats, so they think the cats might have died in the fire. 😦 They do have two other dogs that made it out with them, so that’s good, but the cat thing…that’s still pretty sad.

How weird is it that I’m talking about cats because today’s look is the Cheshire cat Halloween look…? Oh man.. Well, those neighbors and us never saw eye to eye but I’m sure glad that they’re all safe, and hopefully they were able to recover some items from their home.

Wow, I have no idea how to turn this post around it’s almost depressing… But let’s just get started shall we?

My post is late not only because of the incident happening while I was in the middle of editing, but my laptop is crap, slow as nails, and this morning when I was recording the voice over, I had some technical difficulties so I had to jump through hoops just to get it… *sigh* My computer hates me lol…

    That’s so sad about your neighbours house catching on fire and their cats, I would be devastated 😦 I’m glad that they made it out okay, was there any word on what started the fire?

    1. Awh thanks so much!!! I’ve been having so much fun creating these looks!!
      And yeah it was sad about the cats, but I think the cats just ran away? If thats true im relieved. Then again, cats are very smart, I don’t believe cats would stay if they sensed something is up but who knows. As to what started the fire, still no word on that. I over heard them arguing like the lady was blaming her husband? Idk, it’s all a big mess. We never really got along because she’s very loud, is always cussing in front of the kids, and she just seems very dramatic. I’m sure the other neighbors know but I don’t really care to ask because she’s gonna talk shit about me again. Lol.

        Oh no, one of those situations. Bad neighbors suck, I don’t blame you for not asking around. When we lived in an apartment there was a lady a few floors up that would always be shrieking at her husband and accusing him of things, it wasn’t fun to be around.

        1. Aren’t those neighbors the worst? And they would always stare at us like we were in their property if we even stepped a foot on their side of the street but they would happily go in our backyards in “search of her son’s missing ball” like yeah right, a three year old can throw a ball that far… *sigh* But no, my husband was saying “I don’t want to sound mean but I’m kind of glad they’re gone” … Honestly, same. lol

          1. Ugh that’s the worst. We have neighbors across our backyard (wr live in a town home so there’s not a lot of yard space between us) who stare at me when I take my blog photos in front of the window. I’m like stop staring into my house! 😭 Maybe it’s for the best that your neighbors are gone for now…

          3. Unfortunately yes 😦 theres my bedroom window but because of the layout they can still look down into our room (it’s the lower level of a bi-level) when they smoke on the balcony. I film YouTube videos downstairs and sometimes they’ll just make aggressive eye contact 😣

  5. Ahhh I’m crying about the cats but so glad everyone else was okay. My computer is slow as hell, too lol it’s seriously a struggle. I doubt mine would even let me upload & edit a video.

    Anyways, this look is freaking amazing. I love the liner & eyebrows so much!! The colors all really pop out, the wig was the perfect addition, too. 🙂

  9. Oh my gosh Rossy, this is my favorite so far!! I’ve adored Alice in Wonderland and especially the Cheshire Cat for nearly as long as I can remember. You did such a wonderful job with this look! I mean, seriously, you almost look like an animated graphic with the extra details of highlighting the whiskers and the nose. :O Absolutely stunning! ❤ The wig was the perfect addition too–it really pulled it together. 🙂
    On another note, that is absolutely devastating about your neighbors' cats!! I'm going to choose to believe that they just ran away and haven't been found. Cats wouldn't stay when there's danger like that. They are unbelievably good at bolting.

    1. Thanks so much Courtney!! The Cheshire Cat was always one of my favorites too. 😀 I recently watched the movie as well and I loved it just as much as I did when I was younger 🙂
      I do love the highlighted whiskers and nose, I thought I just had to do that and it looks pretty cool!
      And yeah! I don’t believe the cats stayed. Alex and I were talking about how cats are usually very good at sensing when something isn’t right. Who knows.. I haven’t asked what happened because those neighbors and us never really got along but… eh..

      1. I don’t think I will ever get tired of Alice in Wonderland! I even dressed as the Mad Hatter for a costume party three years ago and I almost bought another Mad Hatter costume for this year hahaha. I would’ve if we had the money. 😉
        The highlighted whiskers and nose look amazing! It was such a great idea and gave so much more depth to the look.
        Exactly, I totally agree. I bet they just ran away, which is still sad, but obviously wayyy better than the alternative! Yeah I get that with neighbors for sure. -_-

        1. I love it!! Ciel liked it too!! It’s so cool sharing MY childhood with him because they don’t make movies like that anymore 😂😂 we watched 101 Dalmatians yesterday and holy moly I had forgotten how violent the dialogue was hahaha

          1. That is just so fantastic!! Especially since kids today don’t seem to be interested in what we liked, but I guess that makes sense considering they have their own fun things haha. So it’s great when they do like it!!
            Oh my gosh I haven’t watched it in years but I can just imagine! It’s funny what you don’t notice as a kid. XD
