Sailor Moon x ColourPop — GRWM & First Impressions

Hii dolls!!

I received my package a bit later than most people, but I got it nonetheless. So for today, I am so pumped to show you guys a few products from the Sailor Moon x ColourPop Collection and do a quickie GRWM and first impressions. This is so exciting! Like everyone else around my age, we watched Sailor Moon growing up. I could not wait to play with these items!

I didn’t get EVERYTHING, but I got three things.

• Pretty Guardian Pressed Powder Palette
• Cat’s Eye Pressed Powder Blush
• Daylight Lip Bundle

I know a lot of people wished they would have done more with the scouts, but since this is a limited edition collection, I have absolutely no idea if they will ever do anything like this again. Would be cool if they did, but still..

I did try on these products for you for the first time in my video. I talk about them a bit at the beginning, do a GRWM and let you know my thoughts on these products at the end.

Look: Pink Moonflower

I didn’t know what to name this look and then it came to me: moonflower! They bloom only at night, and they’re so pretty! Reminded me of Usagi transforming and “fighting evil by moonlight”. Makes sense, right?

Makeup Details:
Shades Used: Twilight Flash, Moon Castle, Tuxedo Rose, Silver Crystal, and Silver Millennium | Cat’s Eye Blush & Moon Tiara Ultra Glossy Lip

When I filmed this video I didn’t have the time to do a more elaborate look. I meant to do something more neutral but failed at it but I really loved this look. 🙂 I made it softer-looking but cannot wait to play around and see how much these shades can be built up.

The Collection / First Impressions

Honestly, I would have gotten a few products from this collection regardless of what was on the inside. The packaging is adorable and Sailor Moon is iconic and a huge part of my childhood. I really like that the packaging of the palette and the blush have the lenticular images, that was a unique touch and it is very 90’s.

Pretty Guardian Palette

My first impressions of the palette: I really like it! Although I didn’t use a lot of the shades as I would have liked on my video, I could tell that they are buildable and the shimmery shades have so much potential!

Cat’s Eye Pressed Powder Blush

I got Cat’s Eye because it was a bit lighter and less rosey than From the Moon. I never dip my brush too hard into the pan so I started off lightly but I had a bit of difficulty building it up. I don’t know if it was because I wasn’t wearing any primer but either way, I believe the blush has potential and will be sure to keep working with it.

Daylight Lip Bundle
Usagi Ultra Blotted Lip & Moon Tiara Ultra Glossy Lip

Between both lip bundles, I liked Daylight better. The ultra blotted lips looked almost the same on a few people so I just went for the gloss I liked better. I am happy with this lip bundle because the gloss is more peachy-nude and perfect for me to wear it daily. The Usagi blotted lip I didn’t get to try but I am excited and it looks so good! For now, I like the lip gloss but have to wear it more often to know for sure how it holds up.

I may switch my focus palette this month to this one to review it as soon as I can since it’s limited edition. I want to give my full thoughts if I can before they restock it (if possible) that way you guys can decide if it’s worth picking up or not.
