6 Minutes vs 60 Minutes — Makeup Collab w/50shad3s0fjay

Hello again!

As you’ve seen from the title, I am collaborating with my bestie, the beautiful Jennie. We decided to do this awesome and fun challenge together, 6 minute versus 60 minute makeup!

I have been meaning to do a collab with Jennie for a long long time but it was never the right time for either one of us, so I’m so happy this is finally happening! Let’s get on with this because it’s two looks in one post! 😀

6 Minute Makeup

I must admit I totally felt the pressure to do my makeup in 6 mins or less. On days where I do the bare minimum, it feels like I need at least 15 to 20 mins to get it done right. I surprised myself and finished right when my alarm went off! Phew!

When I need to do my makeup fast, I tend to put all my focus on my skin and brows. It is also the middle of summer so foundation was an easy pass. I mainly used highlighter to give my skin luminosity and some blush to give my cheeks a bit of color.

EDIT: After seeing Jennie’s looks, I realize that I spend way too much time on my brows, lol! I definitely need more practice with my makeup!

60 Minute Makeup

You guys probably saw this coming. Yet another peachy-orange makeup look. They just have been my go-to shades this summer. I’m staying true to myself and I thought doing a colorful look would take much longer so I didn’t want to bother. I do* realize that it looks really similar to my Orange Glow look… Again, I’m sorry lol.

Lips: Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in What’s The Stitch?

For this look I did use powder foundation to even out my skin tone a bit because I had gotten a bit sunburned the day before when I went to the beach. I did also use bronzer and blush to bring back some color to my face. I could say this is my signature look this summer. I can’t get enough of the color orange lol.
