Orange Glow MOTD

Hello!!

Just here to share a makeup look! πŸ™‚

Last year I created a Sunburst Yellow look and absolutely loved it! This year I have been loving oranges so much so I thought I could do just that. I pulled all the orange shades I have in my collection and selected a few to achieve this glowy monochromatic look.

I really love the look, as simple as it is. I have been creating lots of simple looks lately because I’m still on a creative rut, but I also don’t want to stop creating and doing my makeup. So for now, this will do. I also tried out the all-over blush technique I’ve seen people do on IG and I really like it, but I think I need to tone it down and concentrate it near the temples, and cheek bones πŸ™‚

I have been loving blogging again three times a week. I have so many ideas and reviews in my head so I will be sure to get plenty of those out this month! Be sure to follow me if you aren’t yet so you don’t miss out on some pretty cool things πŸ˜‰

On my agenda for this week:

  1. I will be selecting my next eyeshadow palette to test out this week.
  2. Finish a lookbook for next week.
  3. Have a photoshoot session today for a post on Friday.

What’s on your agenda / to-do list??
What colors are you gravitating to this season?

    1. Thanks so much πŸ™‚ I really enjoy these orange shades a lot, especially during the summer πŸ™‚
These lashes are okay, they’re the WnW Shutter Shock ones. They come with their own lash glue but the lash glue SUCKS, so I recommend getting a better one. As for the lashes, you would need to trim them a considerable amount, they were so huge. The band is also really thin so cutting it may be a bit hard, sometimes it left some of the band and that bothered the inner corner of my eye, but of course they’re all made a bit differently. So they may* work for you, but honestly I recommend other ones haha

  3. Dude you make orange look so sick HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE. The fact that you made it monochromatic is crazy. It seriously looks so nice!? And the lashes are really natural looking, I had to do a triple take and read the eye products list to ascertain they were falsies!

    1. LOL thank you! I think it helps that orange and peachy shades suits my skin tone haha πŸ™‚
I do want to do a monochromatic series if I can, I’ve done looks like that in the past but I didn’t consider myself that good with makeup, but now that I’ve learned other techniques I’d love to give it a shot πŸ™‚
Yeah the falsies are nice in the sense that they don’t look overly dramatic like most, but I didn’t like them as much unfortunately 😦
