Hello again!!

Yes I’m posting twice today, sorry! I posted a pictorial this morning so be sure to check it out if you’re interested 😉 As for this post, it will be brief as they always tend to be.

First Impressions:

Before I start, let me just say I saw the rest of the products for this month and I would have liked to get other products instead of a few that I received (i.e. Becca primer, a Tarte mascara, or a different shade of lipstick).

Anyway, this month’s box did not wow me.

Two products I’m not sure I’ll even use is the Bang Beauty chocolate eyeliner and the Smashbox lipstick because it’s a shade I won’t reach for often. I will most likely put them in my giveaway pile..

It’s good to have gotten the cuticle oil because I kind of need something like that anyway. The House of Lashes lashes won’t get used until I get more practice putting on falsies because these can be used up to 15 times and I don’t want to ruin them. The eye masks also sound fabulous, I feel like with all this heat and pollution in the air, my under eyes could use some TLC.

As for the Laura Lee palette, I only hope it’s good quality. I don’t really like her much, but if everyone raved about Cats Pajamas, then surely this must be good too. We will see. I plan on doing a first impressions of this palette at some point so be on the lookout for that.

    I’m sorry the box didn’t wow you! The spoilers I saw had a really cool lip palette which I don’t see around often!

I had never heard of her before until I read a lot of unboxings for this month’s Boxycharm & everyone kept saying they weren’t a fan of her so I looked her up like there haaas to be reason & read that she tweeted racist ass shit some years ago & when it came back up she just flat out deleted her account instead of apologizing.

        1. It’s funny that you say that, because I saw something about her old racist, fat shaming tweets sometime last week? But didn’t think much of them. And I just found out today that she deleted her account and ALSO released some apology video but a lot of people say how she’s so insincere and the fake crying idk. I didn’t watch her, I don’t wanna give her my view. Her and three other you tubers are kind of in a feud with Jeffree Star and they’re all kind of doing damage control because they’re losing followers left and right. Those people are a MESS!

          1. Oh jeez, wow. I only read one article about it & I was like “okay I hate her, too, now” lol, there was only one tweet in that article & they were like “she has yet to say anything” at the end so it must’ve been an older article I read?! Still… if she’s said even more horrible things in the past, I’d have to believe those folks who are saying her apologies are insincere. 😦
            I’ve definitely heard of Jeffree Star before but this is the first I’ve heard of Laura Lee!?

          2. Oh man its literally such a huge mess lol. A lot of stuff has come out since Shane Dawson released a five part series about JS, and his ex friends want to keep attacking him and their apology videos have back fired it’s crazy. It’s unraveling!! Lol. Not sure how it started but basically, they used JS for his connections and for more exposure. Honestly, I didn’t even know those people existed until JS gave them so much promo on his OWN channel…
            And JS has barely said anything and so much “proof” has been resurfacing that the drama channels on YouTube are having a freaking ball over it lol. If you’re interested in those channels, Beau Tea with Ashley is one, Karma Kaboom is another (I watched a bunch of her videos today lmao) and another is Here for the Tea, but I kind of recently learned that HFTT made fun of JS because of what he revealed about himself in the Shane Dawson series. So I kind of don’t like her as much anymore…? Mental health is a very real thing, people have a hard time with it and to make fun of it? Sickening. I’m sorry I just ranted, but anyway, their little feud or drama, whatever you want to call it, seems to be the tip of the iceberg. These people are exposing themselves and I’m all here for it. Cannot wait for JS to freaking just unleash it all though I know everyone has their own side but they seem a little too quiet lol. Somethings up and I wanna know now too lol
