Hii dolls! Happy first of the month!
How is it May already?? Seriously. This quarantine has got me confused about the date, not going to lie. That aside, I’ve been enjoying writing blog posts for you again. This time I bring you another Influenster review; the Love Beauty and Planet ReviewIt voxbox which contained a shampoo and conditioner from their Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower collection.
I meant to do a review of another collection of theirs first, but I always have to prioritize the Influenster voxbox, so the other review will come another time. With that out of the way, let’s get into this review.

Product Description from Love Beauty and Planet:
Sounds like brunch, right? Trust us, it’s just as good. We’ve incorporated coconut water, known as a lightweight hydrator, into blends that make skin soft and keep hair strong and full of bounce. The fresh and delicious absolute of honey-scented mimosa flower further enhances the scent experience.
Welcome to paradise. Called “dew from heavens” by native Hawaiians and known for its rich hydration properties, coconut water is widely believed to help revitalize and refresh skin and leave hair hydrated and gorgeously glossy.
Moroccan mimosa flower’s absolute imposes powerful, rich and lasting green floral mimosa notes with distinct undertones of gentle honey and a fruity raspberry cassis. To some, the scent is reminiscent of delicate jasmine. Grown in the region of Khemisset in Morocco, this absolute is extracted from the flowers to capture the heart notes of the plant.
Size & Price:
13.5 fl oz (each) for $6.99 USD at Target / $8.99 USD at Ulta (prices may vary depending on sales and/or discounts per store)
Volume and Bounty Sulfate Free
Firstly, how cool is it that they are continuing their efforts to reduce their carbon front print? These concentrated formulas require less water to make, which allows them to use smaller bottles with 30% less plastic. I know some of you still dislike that plastic is being used, but they are at least making an effort unlike a bunch of brands.
Anyway, I have never used a concentrated formula for my hair, so this was a first and I was very pleased. I use slightly less than a full squeeze, a full squeeze when my hair hasn’t been washed in days, and to my surprise, it lathers quite well.
I used to hate sulfate-free formulas because they never lathered enough, but this one feels like a game changer. I feel like when formulas are more watery, I feel the need to use more? I know that sounds super weird and wasteful, but a lot of formulas don’t work out as well as they should for having short hair.
This shampoo is perfect for fine hair. It makes my hair feel moisturized and it makes my hair voluminous. It also reduces frizz once my hair is already dried. The scent is also deliciously floral and subtle.

Volume and Bounty
Just like the shampoo, this conditioner is also concentrated and it allows me to use far less product than I normally would. Since I have fine hair, I have to use the smallest amount anyway, but with this concentrated formula, I get more benefit out of using smaller amounts.
And just like with the shampoo, my hair is volumized, it feels nourished, shiny, and healthy, frizz-free and does not tangle as easily. The scent is similar to the shampoo, floral-like, and I love that the scent lingers on my hair.
All the good stuff:
- Ethically Sourced Extract
- 100% Recycled Bottles
- Safe for Colored Hair
- With Coconut Oil
- Sustainably Sourced Extract
- No Guilt
I’ve never enjoyed trying out a shampoo and conditioner as much as I enjoyed these. Even though I have tried many* products that are made specifically for my hair type, I feel like these products have exceeded my expectations and have given me better results than anything I have tried in the past. I will definitely be looking into repurchasing these once I’ve run out. I’m slowly getting closer to finding my holy grails when it comes to haircare.
