Unboxing — April 2018 Boxycharm

Hello again!

I’ve been working hard on this post, not just because I was excited to show you, but because I have also filmed a video unboxing this month’s box!

Theme: Eye Candy

I didn’t feel like all the products reflected the theme well, except for the palette of course, that’s the only thing I thought of as “eye candy”.

First Impressions:

All of these brands I’ve heard of, except for the Brow Gal. Dr. Brandt was a brand I was introduced to through Boxycharm and it’s pretty good. Always great to have more skincare.

I have gotten an eyeshadow from Jelly Pong Pong in one of my Ipsy bags last year and it was good quality so I hope the same is true for this luminizer. I’ve never tried MAC products because it’s technically not CF (they sell in China), but this is a pretty good opportunity to try their infamous lipsticks.

In terms of the eyeshadow palette I received, I think it’s very pretty and I like that there’s a good balance between metallics/shimmers, mattes, and duochrome shades. There’s also a few transition shades and those are usually important to me when I get palettes.
