Hello again!
As promised, here’s another unboxing post. I’m surprised I got 2 out of 3 around the same time so I was able to plan accordingly for a day full of unboxing posts. As I mentioned in my February 2018 Boxycharm Unboxing, I hope I can get my Sephora box soon so I can put up another post because I want to make room for other posts that are coming. 🙂
Anyway, let’s reveal this month’s Ipsy bag! 🙂
Theme: Unzipped
I think the bag is really pretty for the month of February. It’s a blush pink bag with black lace trim. I just love how subtle the shade of pink is.
I also really love the theme this month, “Unzipped”. Unzipping or exposing yourself, in your own skin because everyone is beautiful regardless of gender, skin color or body type. This is literally the month to not only love others but yourself most of all.
YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL! ❤
Bag Contents:
- OFRA Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Ipsy Unzipped
- Pacifica Beach Crystals
- Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Blush
- Biobelle Perfecting Primer Facial Mask
- Luxie Beauty Blending and Shading Eye Brush 249
First Impressions:
I really like all the products I got this month. I’m very excited to finally try an OFRA lipstick as well as eyeshadows from Pacifica. As always, I love getting brushes though I’m not entirely sure how or where I will be storing this one since it’s double sided.
I’m also getting a bit overwhelmed with the amount of blushes I’ve been getting in subscription boxes. At one point, I only had one now I’m getting one nearly every month.
What did you guys get in your Ipsy bag this month?

The bag is really cute for February! Of course Ipsy would have an Ofra liquid lipstick after I unsubscribe 😫
Oh well, looks like you got a great bag this month!

Awh noo!! They do have high end products every once in a while but it doesn’t seem as often as it should be lol. I plan on unsusbcribing after my one year mark. Maybe, maybe not well see lol.
But yeah it’s a pretty good bag.

I agree, I wish it was more often. I might have stayed subscribed otherwise. When is your one year mark?

Next month lol. I’ll have to make my decision to keep it or leave it fast.

I only got the brush like you everything else in my bag was different. I usually don’t like Pacifica products… curious to know what you think of the eyeshadow once you try it.
And I know you said you’re sick of blush but… lychee?!? Yum. I’ve never seen another product use that fruit for flavor or color or anything.

Ahh so you’re subscribed? Or did you tell me you were already?! I don’t remember sorry!! Lol.
But I’d love to see what you got in yours. I’m a little behind on reading but will hopefully catch up a bit today.
And have you tried Pacifica’s eyeshadows in the past?
I’ve honestly never heard of the brand but I’m excited to try it as well. I hope it’s up to par with my favorite blushes lol. And I don’t think I’ve ever heard or seen that fruit. 🤔

I can’t remember if I already told you but yeah, I’m subscribed to Ipsy, Birchbox, & Sephora now. 😀 I want to get my unboxing posts up before Feb ends but idk if I’ll be able to. Still waiting on Sephora & need to try a few products still.
Yeah I had tried a single shade of Pacifica eyeshadow before & a lipstick.
Lychees are yummy, you can prob find em at your nearest Asian market. 😄

Yay!! I’m excited to see what you got! 🙂
Oh ok, how did you like their lipsticks? I’ve only tried their CC cream so far, and I liked it but since it’s the only one I’ve tried, I can’t compare it with anything else LOL. Though I’d say it’s good since it’s natural, cruelty free and all.
Ah okay, I’ll have to look for them next time I go to Fubonn or Uwajimaya 🙂

The lipsticks were really hard and chalky/dry but yes they are cruelty free! That’s a plus!

They are! I’m planning on unsusbcribing next month (will be a full year with ipsy). I’m still thinking it over but I will have to look back at all the bags I’ve received and see if it’s worth it or not.

I got that shade of Ofra lip cream in a previous bag, and I love it.

I wish I could subscribe to so many subscription boxes. It’s exciting to open them. However, it would be a waste of money for me because I don’t need that much makeup. I stick to really basic things and use them up until I need new ones. I have one BB cream, one blush, eyeshadow in the shades I know I do wear, etc 😊 I love the bag, so romantic. And the idea of feeling good about your body and in your own skin is something I fully support. It makes me happy that we’re embracing it ❤️

Yeah, it’s like opening presents every month LOL. Yeah it’s a lot of makeup and it can accumulate fast, but for a makeup lover like me, all of that can come in handy and give me lots of options for different days and occasions 🙂
Yes, the bag is really pretty, really catches the Spring pastels too.
I know right? It’s about time people started embracing that. We’re too often caught up by all the skinny models on TV or on IG making everyone else feel like they’re not pretty.
